A bumpy course. Greens are big, fairways are wide. There's very little elevation change, but the bumpy greens make for tough putts. Some long par 4's but they play shorter.
Tried to make a course a bit different than what I've seen. There are no trees in play, very few false-fronts to greens, only 2 water hazards in play.
My first course, would love feedback.

To be honest, when I saw this post and saw that it was a new user, his first course, and one he described as "bumpy," I wasn't expecting much. But you've criminally undersold yourself here, the course is absolutely fantastic. The sculpting and lighting are excellent, with some fun hole ideas, and great planting. The greens were really fun to play and the entire course felt fair and interesting. My critiques of this course are minimal, and are essentially just nitpicks. The tee boxes didn't have a whole lot of variety to them, with almost all of them being in a straight line and 10 yards or so in front of each other. A little variety in distance and playing line might add another element to the course that could make it shine even more. And from a polish perspective there are some fairway to green transitions that meet at old angles that could probably be smoothed out. Have you submitted this to the database yet? If you haven't you definitely should, I think this one would be a lock to host a tour event at some point. Thanks for sharing!

Hi there!
First off, welcome to the community! Thanks for sharing your design. This course is amazing especially since it's a first course. The sculpting is so clean and interesting. What I think I like the most about it is that there isn't a ton of flashy objects or anything but your contours and lighting make it stunning!
5 stars and a favorite from me. Well done!

Maybe should qualify "first course." I took a long time figuring out all the tools first. It is the first course I've published with intention of posting it here or asking for feedback. I made 1 other course just to figure out everything. Also wasn't created in a day; I started this 2 months ago.
I admit the tee boxes are a weakness. I made new surfaces several times before basically giving up. Because, well I dont care. I see some people decorating around the tees, pathways, and I just dont see the point. Mine could definitely be better, even if I'm saying I want a minimalistic approach. Maybe next time.
Also with the tees, this was designed with Master clubs in mind. Basically, the tees are set for each club set. There's a 504 yard par 4, even longer with some pin placements, that would be unplayable from the tips with Pro clubs. I dont think this was executed as well as could be.
Thanks for the feedback and playing my course.

My buddy and I played this last night! Instant 5 star for me. Just really clean. Believable. Fun to play. Not overly penal or forgiving. A very enjoyable course that is minimalist in nature but has subtle quirks that lets you know some thought was put in to the playing experience. Congrats man! And especially if this is your first design! Take a bow sir.
