Gents,
Probably a bastard to code, but I think it would be great if we could set filters that would be remembered between sessions, so that you can select up to 10 rivals in your particular bracket and have that section head up the leaderboard. Maybe a different tab in your profile where you can set your rivals for your tours that translates into a mini leaderboard ion the main leaderboards weekly??
Similar functionality is available on the Masters, Open, USPGA etc for comparison, as I'm sure you're aware.
For me, it would take the leader boards to another level and set the site even further apart from other end game additions.

Good idea - and to expand on it further, why not have a customisable 'friends' leaderboard - so you can keep track of people you are mates with throughout the tour structure (not just on your own tour)? PS Your poll needs the ability for us to select two options, as option 3 is surely a given???  |

Tim has mentioned previous his interest in doing something like this - think it's up to free time and catching up on current bugs/issues.

Five of us in CC-C have entered into a rivalry of sorts. My idea for this was to get players around about my skill level and who are active on the forums. It just adds something else to a few players who are sitting mid leaderboard and hopefully help drive us up the leaderboard.
So something like this would be useful as currently I'm scrolling through the leaderboard and checking scorecards and typing a short report about it.

When I play, I always put a ghost to follow. It may be a rival, but what's the difference?

Hi alexandre Not what this thread is about at all, but here goes: Ghost - A player that has previously completed their round and you can play against their ghost for 18 holes. Rival - Choose to play against a player that currently has a round in progress. You will be on the course at the same time as them, but will not be playing them "live" in an alternate shot sense. You'll just be on the course together, and your scorecard will show that rival's score as well as your own. |
