Looking at rankings and performances, it would seem that PC users are struggling. Does anyone agree?

Larry Malone had a whole thread on this subject. Its here if you missed it.
Nevertheless, one point that has interested me is what I'll call Impact Centre. On PC, when using a mouse, wherever you click your mouse to start a swing sets a start point (expressed as an X / Y coordinate). How you drag the mouse back relative to the start point on the Y-axis determines how straight your backswing is. How you deliver the club back towards the start point on the Y-axis determines how straight your throughswing is. That much is fairly intuitive but what is less intuitive is that impact occurs above the start point on the X-axis. Here's a picture to demonstrate my point: In this example, I'm setting my start point directly over the ball (also shown in the video below) yet impact occurs above the ball. The same is not the case when using a controller on PC and while I don't own a console to confirm, I assume is the case on Xbox and PS4.
To describe my point, here's a video of how I swing back and putt through the middle of the ball / past my start point on the X-axis but there's no impact:
Compare that agaisnt using a controller (below) and it's clear that impact occurs at the ball and not above it:
Also, looking at the first video again, I purposefully move the mouse way out to the right to show that it's not until the mouse pointer passes horizontal to Impact Centre (above the start point on the X-axis) that the ball strike occurs.
Taking those two things together, I do wonder how many PC players have trouble with tempo because impact takes place at point that is different from what they're seeing in front of them. It's like when one plays with inverse mouse controls, your brain is telling you one thing based on what you see in front of you but something different happens.
I cannot think of a logical reason why Impact Centre is above True Centre for mouse users but I think it's important for mouse users to know that because speed through impact definitely affects putts.

Is it true most playstation users have non-conforming pads but the tour would loose over half the field if they banned them? ?

I'm on PC and not struggling, in fact this is a good opportunity to brag about absolutely violating Loch Ness on the Inglorious Basterds society this morning : Only had a few bad downswing tempos which is really good for me, normally get at least half a dozen per round. I'm definitely starting to get the (admittedly tinfoil-y) impression that playing early morning on PC, when the Americans are all asleep and not draining all the HB server juice, gives better tempo results than later in the day / evening.
