Thanks Bob - Iām not even listed in the FedEx points list - how does one amass those points - specific events? You'll need 150 FedEx points ish over the next 3 weeks to crack the Top 110 and make the Masters. That's three Top 20's in regular events.
The minor event next week is a chance - 300 for the winner, 165 for second.
A little annoyed I am missing the Matchplay as it's my favourite event but I guess that's what I get for taking 3 months off
Or just win or come in second in one event!
Yeah Jack, Dell Match play has all been my fav event too.

I can't see how you can actually play against other players within the game societies, so I assume from a player's perspective you just play the society rounds like normal? I hope so as I'm not going to have much time after this morning to play this week.

If some same system matchups want to do it live by all means set it up but it's not expected.

Please remove me from the backup list. I have zero chance to compete. I'm getting about 60% of my iron swings off tempo and can barely break par these days No worries, just don't play the rounds in the Special Event and I'll keep moving down the list as needed. It won't be a mandatory back-fill since it'll be a last minute change if needed.

For the record, I still think it is a mistake in not offering one/two slots from the web/euro folks, be it in a tournament, WGR, money list or those that have won tournaments. Simple fact is there have been sponsor picks in the past reserved normally for amateur players who have helped TGC as a community, yet there was a year out of no where Sloaner got an exemption when he didn't qualify, just cause we were told.
The Euro/web folks play hard and yet here is not a single way for them to get into the tournament other than to qualify for the PGA. This doesn't reflect RL as a player who loses their card with a high WGR, can still qualify with that WGR or past accomplishments, (IE winning a previous major, taking top 5 in a major the year before) even if they have lost their card in the mean time, the invite is still there. It is a shame that Doyley has determined the site wants to be as realistic as possible but only when it suits him. He lists some of the official ways to get in, but ignores others and that is a shame. There are several of us on Web/Euro that have been here since the start and should have the opportunity to play, based either on previous years or at least our overall body of work in the last 5 years. We are told Euro/web tours don't get an invite because they don't meet RL qualifications, when in fact there are a few of us that do. So it really feels out we are being singled out and given a big FU all for just quite not scratching through to the PGA THIS season, when in the past rules were a bit more lax. It is a shame.
