I tried too fire things up yesterday morning, and the TV came on and immediately went back off again with it's standby light continuously slow flashing red. It's not the fast/slow flash that indicated a reset is needed, but instead the whole PSU has blown completely and is deemed irreparable as it is now 12 years old. So we have ordered a new 4K set but it will not be installed until the 11th of December at the earliest.
How will this affect me for demotion marks? I will simply not be able to play in a tournament now until then.

If you had a DNF this week, I believe you will get 2 marks. However, not playing until your new set is ready to go will just count as a DNP and you'll get no marks.

Can you not just go and buy one off the shelf and 'install' yourself?

Can you not just go and buy one off the shelf and 'install' yourself? There are probably other issues with the installation besides just DIY, otherwise he would DIY it. I know I would!

Unfortunately not an option for the following reasons: 1 - no other screens are available, and 2 - I don't own a laptop - and even if I did that would mean re-buying the game, learning a different platform & that would play havoc with my B-troop matches as I am registered here on PS4, not PC. On the more positive front, the new set is now set up & installed and - this being the tricky part - nailed to the wall properly, which is the bit I cannot do being a bit of a raspberry ripple with a dodgy spine (hence why I had to pay installers) as getting the old dead one off the wall was simply beyond my physical capabilities. Back "On Tour" next week - I will not get 2 rounds in before tonight and I am pretty certain I need to get the first 2 rounds in before thursday evening, yes? It's good to be back again though. (anybody got any idea what is in the new patch, and how it will affect TGC Tours?)

Not sure you understand the concept of remote play, but hey ho.
Glad you got your set up and running.

It's good to be back again though. (anybody got any idea what is in the new patch, and how it will affect TGC Tours?) Pro (PGA, Euro, Web, and TST) tours you do, but CC-X you just have to have four rounds in by the end of the week early on Sunday.

That's good to know - much appreciated, so I think it is Pacific Pines time later today then. Wa-hey etc
