Just an idea here,
Let's say there are 150 players on a certain tour...
Have a poll of possible courses for that week as decided by admin or whoever decides that....
*Obviously TPC Sawgrass would still host The Players and Augusta National would still hold The Masters, etc....
But for other tournaments....
Example:
For the "X X Golf Tournament"...
Which one of these courses below would you like to see for next weeks tournament?
A. B. C.
I would think this would be a cool addition.

@swaeromotion I was actually wondering about this recently. From what I've read the rangers will mark courses as "Approved" or "On Tour" and then, from the course listings, the schedulers will choose courses from the list of approved and on tour. Do you know if there's more to it than that or that pretty much it?

Courses are reviewed by REVIEWERS (not rangers) - and either approved or not. Two categories of approved as you have stated - but that is just the opinion of the one reviewer - it means little in deciding courses selected for tour events.
The schedulers for the individual tours then play courses they want to - and if they feel the course is a good fit for their tour - both in difficulty, theme, quality, fairness etc - then they will ask the RANGERS to look at it - testing mostly whether the pins are legal (none / minimal yellow/red lines in the 3x3 box around each pin), but also whether the firmness fits, what winds might be suitable (for the playability of the course and for the standard of the golfers on the tour it might be played on). Also whether any rangers find any lag on the course.
If there are issues with the course - the scheduler will either not use it, or go back to the designer and ask for some changes to resolve those issues - it will then get re-rangered to check the new version.
Then the scheduler decides where it might fit on his tour.
So the whole process takes several weeks and involves a lot of volunteers.
Please also note that sometimes yellow lines around pins will STILL show up for some people - this is due to a feature / glitch in how the game determines if a line is green / yellow / red - it can be a different colour when two people have a slightly different putt (length / angle) - so that is why you will sometimes still see illegal pins pop up despite all the testing.
If we went down the route the OP is suggesting - it would be chaos, and the courses would have a lot more issues (and therefore moans on here) about such issues.
Thus his suggestion is awful.

I think the suggestion would give the TGC Tours staff a helluva lot more work. As it is they have to schedule for 6 or 7 courses per week. So multiply that by 3 and you've got 18-21 courses that need to be rangered before being put up for voting.
Then you've got to take in to consideration the matter of policing a vote. Whose to say that someone from outside a specific tour wouldn't vote for a course. It maybe plausible for promotion events as they are open to everyone and are only 4 per season as I understand it.

I would think this would be a cool addition. Vitaly If you personally have the time each week to single-handedly ranger the 40 additional rounds(more if changes are needed and any have to be re-rangered) that would require feel free to send me a PM as we could use a ranger like you. Otherwise, as others have said this would become a behind-the-scenes logistical nightmare to make happen. Best thing I can recommend is if you play a course you like away from a TGCT event each forum should have a course suggestion thread where you can let the schedulers know about them.

So, the way I would handle this idea is this: - Ranger 3 courses. - Put 3 courses up for a vote. - Use the winning course. - Use the other two courses later. Might make sense to decide which of 3 courses to use for a Major, and then use the other two for a regular event. I certainly wouldn't discard the hard work of the rangers completely.
