The thought of wind blowing in the game of golf! The horror! I recently played an IRL round where the forecast was 20mph winds all day with one hour in the middle showing a warning of 40mph+ gusts. That was absolute hell on the scorecards but it was hell for both of us so no big deal, and that's the point really, everybody facing the same conditions. As an aside it was actually hilarious playing in those bs conditions, putting was just ridiculous and on one hole our drives barely reached 130 yards, I was like "ffs I can skull my sand wedge further than that!"  |

Clearly you have never played golf in real life then - especially in the UK where 20mph wind is just a breeze anywhere near a coastal course. Try 40-50mph on a links course - where you can drive it 350 on one hole, then 180 the next hole with exactly the same swing.

Clearly you have never played golf in real life then - especially in the UK where 20mph wind is just a breeze anywhere near a coastal course. Try 40-50mph on a links course - where you can drive it 350 on one hole, then 180 the next hole with exactly the same swing.
I play weekly in California guess I'm just spoiled. |

It's literally basic math.
Everyone plays the same conditions.
