Shot -5 last night in Round 1 and it should/could have been so much more. My scores arent up. How are people getting on? Seems like a tricky enough track

If I remember correctly I think I ended up with a -28 but it was a rollercoaster. -11 in the first round and -2 in the second one for example. I have absolutely no idea at all what that will mean. I am currently in CC-B and have no clue on how this promotion event will work. Having my fingers crossed that I will advance at least one flight. There are som crazy scores posting in CC-B every week and I really want to get up to at least WEB in the near future.

Funny cos i remember your score at the top of the leaderboard and was thinking that you were burning the place up. Is the set up much more difficult in round 2?

With the change to club set rules, can I use Pro clubs in the Promotion Event and be eligible to get promoted from CC-A to Web? Or do I need to use Masters clubs in this event? As I understand, in the CC-A event this week, I could qualify for a Promotion Mark if I score well enough using Pro clubs. from Page 2, Jeff's response to same question- "If you want to try to get into one of the Pro Tours through the promotional events, you need to use master clubs for all of the rounds. " |

2nd round was a bit windy if I remember correctly. But I played kinda bad and did lots of mistakes compared to my first round. Round 3 and 4 was a bit average including a triple bogey.. |

So far this has been the hardest test for me in this game. I am CC-B currently playing Masters and I'm struggling with this course as much as Bedes. Greens are ridiculous and can't get anything close to make birdies. First round i hit the 2nd par 5 in 2 and ended up with a bogey. Mostly i am struggling with tempo...i have never struggled this bad with tempo. Pitch shots are impossible and i even have missed several drives and irons with very fast and very slow swings. My tempo on the downswing is about 95% perfect usually and i don't get what is going on

So everyone in every tour will play in the special events society to play in a promotional event? I'm in CC-G without any demotion marks, can I just hop into the special events society and have a go? Where are the rounds' scores shown and is there the course and weather report provided like during 'normal' weeks? Would anyone be so kind to provide some information to me. Anything at all would be helpful! Thanks so much 😀 |

On one par 5 hole, I had a 35 ft eagle putt with a crazy break. I burned the edge of the hole but I had a little too much speed as the ball would not stop rolling down one hill and then another. Ended up with a 100 ft putt for birdie (which I of course missed). Gotta love the 3-putt pars. This is my first tournament using Master clubs as I want to get onto one of the Pro tours. Could have scored better, but could have also done a lot worse |

This is why I love this community. People come in with answers even if it's right under the nose of the OP. As i mentioned in my previous post, I must not have navigated properly on the mobile site to find the information regarding the course and weather report. I didn't realize the weather report was right there where I had been looking all along (albeit much higher up than CC-AM hehe). I think i was confused because Doyley had previously answered me in this thread mentioning that each Tour would play a different course - he must have misunderstood my question. I'm glad we are all playing the same course/same conditions. Wonder how everything will be sorted at the end of it with all of the players being in different tours. Thanks again buddy! |
