Everyone can play (excluding PGA players since there's no where for them to promote to) - those numbers are just showing how close to capacity those tours/flights are. If it's a negative number it means that tour is over capacity - but by the time we work from the top down handing out promotions, those negative numbers can become positive quickly. If more than 25 from CC-E get promoted to a higher tour, CC-E spots start to open up - which is very likely to happen. If you're CC-E you are looking above you to see how many promotion slots are available. This one is similar to Promo Event #2 where approx 410 promotions were given out across all of TGCT - so it's a great idea to play if you want to try and promote up. I worked it out following R2 scores and approximately 457 promos will occur - assumig +10 being the limit for promo, but it was actually at +8 cutoff for a CC-G promo from Z..that will likely change once all 4 rounds are in, but the total promos will still be around 450, so basically about half the field ish... Sounds about right - I'll cap the promotions on CC-Z - just not sure where yet. Likely in the 5-over range. Don't want to promote anyone shooting way over par just because there's a slot available. that's why I encourage as many CC-Z'ers to participate since there are so many of them - they're bound to fill up the CC-G at the very least.

As it stands right now, 21 players in the 'top 20' with one being a pro club player. This is how Doyley would love it to end cause no need for countbacks.

Hoping -20 is good enough for CC-Pro

Well, following this approach I think my -37 landed me on the Euro, up 2 from CC-A. Pretty cool if I did the math right,
o simplify it because how this works can get a little confusing (did last time!), essentially if you are a Masters clubs player trying to escape the Challenge Circuit (like me):
Firstly, all Pro clubs players are irrelevant to you, they can't qualify for the top 3 tours so discount all of them. Pretend they don't exist!
To make PGA - Simples, finish in the top 20 on the main leaderboard.
To make Euro - Finish in the top 41, but this time as well as filtering out all Pro players you also discount all Euro Tour players. They will either have moved up and so opened up another spot on Euro, or they will stay where they are and not affect the movements.
To make Web - Finish in the top 64 but this time YOU ONLY COUNT FELLOW CC PLAYERS. Essentially make the top 64 of a leaderboard of Master Clubs Challenge Circuit players only. All those Pro Tour players ahead of you will either have moved up and so again created another space they left behind, or will have stayed where they are. As things stand, the 64th placed CC Masters player is 157th on the leaderboard at -6. Obviously that will change but right now that spot would qualify for Web.

bobbyb That's what I see, looks to me that all the -37s have made Euro. Of course I could be completely wrong! Good luck

Best I can tell, I finished in top 10 of CC-Z entries. Wonder if that will earn me a promotion?

Good luck I counted it the same, and as the worst tiebreaker of the -37 group I really hope we have it right! I just copied the leader board into Excel and got -37 at rank 41 out of players not already in Euro or using Pro Clubs. So I would say that -37 should be Euro. As someone who shot a -36 after missing back to back 5 footers in the last round, I can confirm that -37 will be the cut because that's just my luck lol

I also finished on -36 and played a couple of rounds on the Web earlier today assuming that's what I'd end up in - suppose I'll find out tomorrow whether it was the right decision or not!

*** NOTE YOU WILL NOT OFFICIALLY GET YOUR TOUR CARD UNTIL MONDAY WHEN TIM PROCESSES/SENDS EMAILS *** I tweaked the final Actual Tour Sizes based off Week 25's numbers - some didn't change, some did (Euro for example) I also had to shrink the Ideal Tour Size of the CC-Pro due to there being too many promotions available - it was putting people into flights they shouldn't have to play in (ie we broke it!). Ideal Tour Size/AVG Field Size/Slots AvailablePGA 135/115 = 20 slots available (9 players with voluntary demotion) Euro 155/122 = 33 Web 155/132 = 23 CCA 140/132 = 8 CCB 140/128 = 12 CCC 140/135 = 5 CCD 140/160 = -20 CCE 140/155 = -15 CCF 140/155 = -15 CCG 140/160 = -20 CCZ 140/205 Promotion Event #3 - Final Results (click me!)Summary chartLook at the left column and view horizontally to see where members from that tour/flight promoted to. Look at the top row and view vertically to see what tour/flight people came from to land on that tour.

Admin and players,
So the numbers in the approach I quoted earlier in this thread would change based on the updated slots available.
"To simplify it because how this works can get a little confusing (did last time!), essentially if you are a Masters clubs player trying to escape the Challenge Circuit (like me):
Firstly, all Pro clubs players are irrelevant to you, they can't qualify for the top 3 tours so discount all of them. Pretend they don't exist!
To make PGA - Simples, finish in the top 20 on the main leaderboard.
To make Euro - Finish in the top 41, (Now 53) but this time as well as filtering out all Pro players you also discount all Euro Tour players. They will either have moved up and so opened up another spot on Euro, or they will stay where they are and not affect the movements.
To make Web - Finish in the top 64 (Now 76) but this time YOU ONLY COUNT FELLOW CC PLAYERS.
Right?

bobbyb if you click the results link there are tabs for each tour showing you the leaderboard used and highlights the promotions given out. But yes, your above post is the gist of how it was done.
