Back onto CC-A this week, after missing promotion by potentially 2 shots.
Decided to get some golf in early, and finished R1 -11 and R2 -10, sitting top of Xbox leader board.
Happy form is okay, but just missing easy birdies to prevent the big scores. It is much harder on Xbox to be so consistent, the fast catches you out when you don't need it, and helps you when you do need it!

Guess who has finally reached the CC summit?
Yep I'll be around for a bit posting rubbish scores and even worse patter.

Well that's me out of here. After almost 3 years of playing PGA (or equivalent) the new game was a bit of a shock to the system! I wasn't unhappy to be bumped down 5 levels to CCC (my ego isn't that fragile!) but the first half of the season was a bit of a grind for me. But it has started to click a little bit and I've really enjoyed CCA since I got here and the rule change for Masters clubs players came in. Was kind of hoping to have a go at Web but I get to struggle to make cuts in Euro instead. Might be wishing for the grind of CCC back again! I just want to thank the scheduler ErixonStone, I've enjoyed the course selections almost every week and it's appreciated that you don't take any minor criticism to heart. Greens under 144 should still be banned! Good luck to everyone that moved up, to everyone still here and to the ones who are about to have their first go at this level. I'm sure our paths will cross again....

I think the "A team" was my most pleasurable circuit experience. I'm temporarily moving up to the Webbers but I think I'll be back to the A cups...excuse me, I mean the A team in a little over a month. See u guys in a bit.

Hi all,
After a dreadful promo event, I am still here... π
I am going to stick with Matsters Clubs not because I have any illusions about moving up but because I enjoy using them. First step in settling back in into CC-A routine: get rid of my two red thingies.
First round was weird: bogey on a par 5 after being just short and rolling back into the water tens of meters lower + a lot of missed putts BUT also a hole in 1 and holing my 1 iron approach on the last...
-13
Best wishes Frans

Dirtbag league I run a league called the Dirtbag league.(you can find a seperate thread by that name) We have players from CC-a thru CC-d and one Euro player. We need a few players for season 4. We are competitive, and have a lot of fun. No extra rounds needed as we play the regular tour event each week. If you are interested, please look at our thread and send me a private message. I will make a decision on new players in the next few days as we are a max 16 player league.

Hi all, quick question. How does the same person win two weeks in a row (B. Mitchell)? I thought a victory included a promotion to the next level. Do you have the option to not go to the Pro tours?

Congratulations to those who promoted up to the Pro's and those who promoted up to here.
Now that the riff raff (joking) has moved out of here maybe I will come back from my self imposed "Very Fast Hiatus" and finish out the season. Or not. Haven't played TGC since May 16. Though some of that is due to The Division 2 taking up a lot of my time. Burning out on that and having the urge to play the golf again.
Considering just waiting until the new season starts with hopefully some changes to TGCTour structure (Pro/Master separation) and the new version of TGC. (I'll start holding my breath now).
Seriously though, congrats to all. Hope to be back with you all soon.

He must be a pro club user. Auto promotion to Web only happens when using master clubs, since the top 3 tours are all masters clubs. A pro club user win gets just one promotion mark. Yipee. I actually do not know what the rules are if you get to 5 promo marks with pro clubs. I guess you are promoted and then expected to switch to master clubs? From the rules section on tgctours.com: CC-A Winner = auto-promoted if using Master's Clubs or +1 movement mark if using Pro Clubs

Enjoyed this weeks' course. Thought the wooden railway bridge looked stunning. Played 1 round yesterday not knowing if i'll make the Web cut and the last 3 rounds today once the results were finalised.
Scored -10, -11, -12 and -13 (-46). Biggest highlight for me was the 18th in 3rd round. I was bogey free for the round at the time, hit a slow downswing into the greenside bunker on the long par 4. Plugged. Flopped the wrong wedge out, faced a 32 feet putt with an 1 foot uphill elevation, double breaker 187 green to save par, it somehow dropped. Did not plan to play 3 in a row, but after that putt I did not need a second invitation.
Made a single bogey whole week, added 5 big birds to that. Pretty happy with my score - winner will in all probability go into 50's under but hopefully a green tick for me on the horizon. Its been a while since the last one!
Was not able to view the replay of the par putt save for my weekly video clip, have to make due with a glimpse of the cool railway bridge instead - the 2nd to the par 5 9th is a bonus:
Good luck all.

Played my second round; boring bogey-free -12... π
Sitting at -25 halfway. Surely I can get rid of a red thingy this week.

Played two rounds and probably going to pick up my fourth strike this week, might even be two to relegate me to CC-B
