I don't see how that doesn't win the tournament. Kudos.

Did a practice round, and scored +9 over par....took a day off, before playing 1st round and then scored -9 under par. Followed up to be -33 by end - satisfied - I think it’s the first time I’ve finished more than 30 under.

I don't see how that doesn't win the tournament. Kudos. It's going to be close! This would be my second TGC victory in 8 tournaments if I pull it off! I'm hoping for a major promotion leap with the promo event coming up.

I've read all the stuff regarding promotion/demotion but I'm a little confused about something. I'm new to the TGC Tour (started in May) and I started here in CC-G, played 3 tournaments badly and finished outside top 100 twice and 63rd on the other and demoted to CC-Z. No issue there. I played two tournaments in CC-Z for 23rd and 8th, and yet somehow I've been promoted back to CC-G ?? I wouldn't think I would have enough promotion points to bounce straight back up.

Hey there, I think it has to do with fast track promotions, but I could be wrong, so someone correct me if I am. If you go to the info section on the main site, this is mentioned: "Fast Track CC-Am promotions are based on a standard deviation formula compared to avg-score of the field. Anyone shooting better than this value will be auto-promoted to the flight above." You must've shot better than that value when you placed 8th in the CC-Z tournament, so you got a fast track promotion back. to CC-G. A similar thing just happened to me this past week. I returned to TGC after a very long hiatus, and got placed in CC-Z out of Q-school (long story short, I need a lot of more practice with master clubs lol). I switched back to pro clubs and did very well in this past week's tourney. It must've been good enough to get fast tracked to CC-G so here I am.

How's everyone doing on this course? Shot my best four round total in my brief time here on tgc... hoping it's enough to knock off one of my four demotion marks.

You'll knock off a demo mark if you place in the top 100 Course was decent, easy if you concentrate, but can get into trouble if not careful. I finished a mere -12, round 3 did me in although I still shot E on that round.

I think -29 should have a shot to do that. Round 4 was my worst at -5. Needed -6 to have my first -30 tournament, golf gods said nope. Still feels good after not performing too well the last couple weeks.

This course wasn’t crazy hard but if you got complacent (which is exactly what I did) it can bite a little... my final round of -12 really brought me back. The other rounds were -5 or around there...

Hey fellas just wanted to pop in for a second and let you know there’s an opportunity to join Heaven and Hell if you’re interested. I run the Heaven and Hell society and I’ve got a few opening coming up for the rest of the season. It’s 2 rounds a week is all and it’s great fun. If you’re interest at all I could definitely use a few players. Sign up here if you’re interested tgctours.proboards.com/thread/17214/heaven-tournament-season-3

Not sure if this is where to talk about the current tourney. Looks like I might have won a skin on #13 for my eagle on it in round one lol... which I repeated in round 2... then hit the pin in round 3 and rolled back 40 feet... Also, that was the only hole I seemed to do well on Loving the tour so far though!
