Lol I was just about to start one as well Like most I assume I had one or two practice rounds Wisdom Bay and the first few holes offer some nice birdie opportunities, so I found myself at the third Tee at +3 I went in the water with a very fast downswing at the first hole and made a 6, I then compounded it at the next hole with a bogey, I rallied a bit over the following sixteen holes and finished with an eagle, nine birdies and just one more bogey for a 65. I went through Q school using Masters clubs, I shake a little but It didn't affect my mouse swing too much or so I thought, as soon as I got into proper competition here at TGCT (I don't really play online with others, yeah I know I'm a saddo ) It became a bit too severe and I was struggling to hit shots straight, The Pro clubs give me a bit more leeway but I can still hit some bad shots, anyway back to CC-G talk

Figured I would start a thread for all of us that are in CC-G. Thanks Patrick, if you look down a bit there was only cc-pro and cc-am in tgc2 that may get reinstated. Tgc2 started the same way with the different flights but were later combined. I like the separate flights, easier to relate sort of, with the folks in the same flight." Z" is my home Planet, I'll be working my way back there as the season progresses. john

Hey all and welcome. Glad to be here with the G's. Not much of a poster more like a lurker giving the occasional thumbs up. Played a bit last season on CC E but had two separate injuries needing surgery (collar bone and then rotator cuff) which made it impossible to play (mouse user). So I was already to go for season 5. Pre Q school I tried the mouse again and I was horrible. I then tried a controller and sucked even more. But kept practicing with both going thru beginner clubs, then pro and then master. I finally settled for the mouse after some very helpful tips from the community and was switching back and forth between pros and masters. Just before Q school started I became halfway descent with masters, not great but I figured good enough to make CC E or CC D. Q school comes I lose my tempo and I am all over the place. Rnd 1 shot a +8 and Rnd 8 shot a +9 finishing the tourny +16. But used masters for the entire tourny. Now the season starts. Have to make a decision. Pro or masters? Start playing a bunch of practice rounds (12 to be exact) at Wisdom Bay with masters and everything starts to fall into place. 2 rounds over par and the rest mid to low 60's with a par thrown in. Just started my season and played my first round and shot a 61. Hope this luck stays with me for the rest of the tourny and hopefully the season. I wish you all the best of luck this season and enjoy your time at TGCTours. Don't worry about which clubs to use. Just have fun and build some rivalries. Thank you PKR33 and mart280 for starting this thread

Good luck to my fellow "Wettbewerber" (that's German for competitors!). Even though I'm a midwestern guy in Manhattan, I've adopted an east German alter-ego: Evan Gröning. I like to imagine him as my real-life boss who is of the same origin. Anyway, best of luck to my fellow CC-G crew. I've had several practice rounds and will be teeing off tonight after work. Let's get it. Anyone want to wager a Hoffbrau?

Looking forward to competing with all of you and hoping we can all move up in the CC ranks. I know in CC-A you get promotion marks but is the only way to move on up here by winning an event? For example if i place 2nd does it really matter? I am all for if you aren't first your last but want to see what i am dealing with.

I finally found it!!!
Challenge Circuit *** NOTE: CC-A members must use master clubs to get positive movement marks - CC-A winner will only auto-promote if master clubs used all 4 rounds ***
If you have no movement marks: Winner = auto-promoted Top 20 = +1 movement mark 140-179 = -1 movement mark 180+, DQ/WD = -2 movement marks If you have positive movement marks: Winner = Auto-Promoted Top 20 = +1 movement mark 101-179 = -1 movement mark 180+, DQ/WD = -2 movement marks If you have negative movement marks: Winner = auto-promtoed 2-100 = +1 movement mark 140-179 = -1 movement mark 180+, DQ/WD = -2 movement marks Examples You have +2 movement marks and finish 130th = you would start the following week with +1 movement mark You have +1 movement mark and finish 185th = you would start the following week with -1 movement mark You have -3 movement marks and win = you would be auto-promoted to the flight above You have no movement marks and finish 80th = no change, still no marks

Excellent, it should be really good fun seeing the ups and downs as the season progresses, how many marks are needed to get promoted to the league above ? does anyone know ? Ok Thanks to John for pointing me in the right direction, 5 promotion marks to get into the CC group above and 5 demotion marks to get relegated
