Rd 1: E Rd 2: +2 First round I left a lot of shots out there particularly putts missing by an inch or 2. Second round I rushed through left 2 balls in the drink and was fighting just to make par on every hole. Hope the next two rounds I can find something!!! Rd3: +1 Rd4: +2 Overall: +5 IF I could get rid of my blow up holes.... IF I could focus on every putt IF I could only play the percentages Overall not awful but could have been so much better. Onto next week

I thought this was the basement! What's with this -23 score? What's lower then "Z"?

Done my 4 rounds thought it might be a good day when I aced the 14th on r2 then eagle on the 15th but the high expectation monster came and dealt me a +7 on r3 which made my card a bit messy.
-5 -8 +7 -1
Total -7
Good luck to all. Add me if you fancy a game away from comp, love to play some rounds with you guys and gals.

My best ever full 4 rounds and I feel like I left plenty shots out there too! -9 ,-5,-6,-3 -23 total. Not bad first comp. good luck everyone. That is quite good - promotion marks likely! Im not sure i understand how promotion marks work? Care to help a guy out? i have read up on it but seems to just tell you what promotion marks achieve as opposed to what it takes to achieve a mark

Care to help a guy out? i have read up on it but seems to just tell you what promotion marks achieve as opposed to what it takes to achieve a mark Challenge Circuit *** NOTE: CC-A members must use master clubs to get positive movement marks - CC-A winner will only auto-promote if master clubs used all 4 rounds ***
If you have no movement marks: •Winner = auto-promoted •Top 20 = +1 movement mark •140-179 = -1 movement mark •180+, DQ/WD = -2 movement marks
If you have positive movement marks: •Winner = Auto-Promoted •Top 20 = +1 movement mark •101-179 = -1 movement mark •180+, DQ/WD = -2 movement marks
If you have negative movement marks: •Winner = auto-promtoed •2-100 = +1 movement mark •140-179 = -1 movement mark •180+, DQ/WD = -2 movement marks
Examples You have +2 movement marks and finish 130th = you would start the following week with +1 movement mark You have +1 movement mark and finish 185th = you would start the following week with -1 movement mark You have -3 movement marks and win = you would be auto-promoted to the flight above You have no movement marks and finish 80th = no change, still no marks

This is good then, it will move those who clearly should not be in Z up to the next tier and so on.
While in the Challenge circuit, clubs do not matter below CC-A. Even so, I will continue to use Master clubs as I find it the best way to challenge myself and see how I stack up to others.
Not a lot of Master club users from what I have seen so far. Some nice scores being posted regardless!

I thought i was doing alright having never played prior to 2019 baring in mind i was comparing myself to the computer in PGA tour for example, single player stuff. So on i went into Q-school with the masters and quite frankly it was a disaster. Decided that it may be best for me to role with pro clubs for a month or two to become more familiar with the game and gradually find my way back to masters as thats where i want to be.

I don't blame you one bit, it is all about the experience you want to see out of this. Trust me I stunk it up badly in Q school. I do not recall my exact scores but they were awful on master clubs. I know I can play better than that ( was near last in Q school ). My 4 rounds of this event totaling -13 tell me to stay the course with Master clubs. Just have to control my swings. Good luck to you, no matter the clubs you use! All about the experience and how you would like to enjoy this game. Edit* Would anyone like to get together for some Steamshovel practice rounds? I have room for 2 more - planning some practice rounds tonight with another friend. Does not have to be tonight, but most days I am available around 6:30pm East Coast, US. I am on the PS4.

I was dead against the masters clubs, but knowing that you can only move up so far without them, I decided to suck it up and use nothing but the masters. They are difficult but not impossible. It took me about 25-30 rounds before I could shoot par but since some of the courses are becoming longer and longer, I think you are better off sticking with them than settling for the beginners clubs.- just my opinion (from someone who absolutley hated them 2 months ago).

Shot -12 through 4 rounds using masters clubs. Definitely left some shots on the course due to my poor putting and some bad tempo shots. I was on the same boat as several here with using masters clubs, but decided to stick with them. Hopefully I can continue to improve and I'm enjoying the competition.
