Sorry if the answer to this is buried elsewhere, but I just thought in the light of recent reconstruction to the TGCT structure, I would seek out an answer. I squeaked through the original q-school with a total of -3 and currently am a holder of a European Tour card. What I would like to know now, is there a path down which I can travel that allows me to change the tour I play in to PGA ? I ask this now, as it seems that people who are coming into the Tours now have a very clear set of situations which allow them to progress up through the ranks and maybe even earn their card for the PGA. When the first set of competitors was released, I think the lowest player in PGA scored -6, obviously I would not qualify this way, I am just wondering if there is a set of criteria that I could meet which would allow me to move, in the future ? Appreciating all of the hard work put into this so far, thoroughly enjoyed my first month.

We're discussing options here including increasing the crossover limit, allowing people a one-time card change (we fear this will top load PGA), or staying status quo. Currently increasing the crossover limit seems like it would solve a lot of issues in that it would allow people more flexibility to control their schedule between the two tours.

Yes, I am okay with crossover events, it is rather the fact that a Web Tour player has a couple of means of gaining an exemption, and thus a chance to gain a full time PGA card whereas myself and others within the Euro Tour do not.

That is the one solution, whereas a Web Tour player playing on an exemption merely has to make the cut, where is the parity ?

Obviously the easiest way is to miss 3 cuts and apply for demotion. Then you have a chance to score low in a round or two, and be granted an exemption, once in play your best game for 2 rounds and accept PGA card. The option of winning a crossover event is nowhere near my reach, I am at best an average player, which suits me as I play for fun and try to play by feel thus generating a very mixed bag of scores.
