What was the highlight of your round/tournament? Hole-In-One on 14. Wow what a bonus!
What was the low-light of your round/tournament? Left a few birdies out there even though I had a great round.
What did you think of the course? Course was made tough by the pin placements on greens. Not an easy put out there unless you got in real close.
How did you fare on the leaderboard? Who were you trying to beat? I was just trying to not be on the cut line again; 3 weeks in a row I was right on or out of cut line. Now I am in 3rd place for the time being. Very nice change!
Was you nervous? My hands were shaking the entire round, I have no idea how I shot -13 under on first round. Worrying about making the cut has been hard on me. Maybe I got it made much easier this week. Would be nice for a change.

How did the first round go?
I started nice with a birdie but then immediately shanked my drive on #2 into the heavy rough. Thank goodness it was a par 5, so I was able to hack my way down to move level ground level and played a medium iron for a birdie chance, which i hit. Was feeling great!! And then....
And then?
My putter started failing me. My approach shots felt good and solid but I started burning the edge on many holes. I probably left 6 shots out there. My short game is suffering.
Does it have anything to do with the brace we see on your hand?
Doctor says i can play but he has to keep the thumb immobile until we can schedule surgery.
When will that be?
I live in Canada? Who the hell nose. MRI's take 9 months average to get up here. Arthroscopic surgery is anyone's guess. I have a feeling the snow up there is going to be long melted before I get in. In the mean time I gotta battle through it. Tho probably by the time i get used to putting/chipping with this thing on, I'll have the surgery and have to relearn everything all over again. (Looks directly in to the camera) Remember folks, Canada is socialized medicine. If I were in the US (prior to Obamacare) I'd have this done in 2 weeks with a co-pay of $50.
How do you know that?
I lived in the US for 26 years. My brother had arthroscopic surgery on his knee for something similar. Total cost $75 and that included a prescription and the referral. Of course, he has a $5000 deductible which was only $500 before, and he's paying 2 1/2 times more, but that is okay .. the US could be living with a Value Added Tax on everything like we have up here in Canada. Now if you take.....
Back to you Greg.

We are catching up with Jason Rosol, who was last seen throwing his golf clubs like a spoiled child
Q. (nervously asked) So, how do you think you did?
A. You watched me play, how do YOU think I did? I bogeyed the 2nd hole for goodness sakes!!!! A blind man playing his first round of golf ever would not bogey that hole.
Q. Well, you had to be happy about the way you came back from that hole?
A. Of course I was happy. Who wouldn't want to bogey the 3rd hole as well?
Q. I meant after the 3rd hole. You did manage to come back from that start to shoot a 66 on day 1.
A. It was better than shooting a 76, I'll give you that. I'm going to need to go real low in round 2 to have any prayer at making the cut. It would be nice if I could actually play in normal winds for one of these tournaments. These 10-16 MPH winds are driving me crazy. Although, I can't blame it on the winds, because they shouldn't affect my putting, and I putt like crap.
Q. Anything else you want to say?
A. Yeah. Who's buying drinks tonight?

Thanks for taking the time to talk to us. “You’re Welcome and it is a pleasure to be asked even though the performance doesn’t warrant it.”
What do you think about your opening round 59. You have to be pleased with that.
“Yes it was a nice opening round, but I also had a second round. This is a course that for some reason doesn’t suit my eye very well. It is a beautiful course and well designed, but I have always felt like I was struggling to hit my mark, I have scored well but it was always a fight. And I think the afternoon round proved that”
Yes your 2nd round 67 was a litter higher than we have seen recently. “ Well in the 1st round the wind shifted between 8-12 mph, and in the afternoon they went up to 10-15 not a big difference but it seemed like it just made me miss my targets ever so slightly. “ I compounded the problem by being on the high side of most holes and just didn’t make any putts, and finished with a 3 putt from 6 feet on the18th. It felt like I stroked it nice but it went right over the top of the hole and stopped somewhere near the tee box.”
So what do you think about your chances at making the cut. “ (-16) is going to be near the cut line. Hopefully it is enough and I can try and improve upon that over the weekend. That is not what I want my final memory of this course to be. Either way I need to go buy a new putter as I broke mine and it is in pieces in the locker room . “
Thanks for the time, and good luck.

Scott Doyley R1: 57 R2: 57
Looks like you are in a groove out there? Very happy with my first two rounds so far. Very consistent with some great approach shots making hard holes easier. Lots of low scores out there so had to be on top of it right from the get-go.
What's the end game? Well, since I'm only 1 shot behind the leader I'm just going to try and put up another low number in R3 and keep the pressure on. First one to blink will likely be passed by as there are a number of people close enough to take control of the lead. Game seems locked in so I'm going to keep the pressure on as best I can.
Any holes grabbing your attention? Yes, the 5th hole - par 4 with the dog leg left and two options off the tee. That hole owns me. I haven't been close to a bird there and have been just playing for par to keep the score in check. I've had a few cracks at eagle on the par 5's but have yet to cash any in. Course looks spectacular and is a definitely a keeper. I plan on coming back and getting a membership in the off-season!
Last two rounds - game plan? Judging by the first two rounds, keeping both R3 and R4 in the 50's is a must if I want to stay in the hunt. Focus and patience are key - can't rush around the course and expect to be handed birdies. Just glad that the cameras have left me alone this week so I can play in obscurity - too much pressure under the lights!

Fred ParrowRnd 1: 65 Rnd 2: 59 (-18 after 2) First round jitters? That was a tough day on the course. My putter was colder than a penguin's tit. Bogies on the front and back and 6 footers not dropping. Going into Round 2 you had some ground to make up to avoid missing your first cut.I figured I would need to shoot a 59 to be safe which was a tall order. My front 9 was fantastic with solid play and 7 under. Just needed 5 under to be safe. You didn't leave much room to do that by parring the first 4 holes on the backside Including the par 5 12th.I know, right? Making the cut was looking pretty bleak. I managed to birdie the par 3 13th and my shot of the day came on the par 5 15th. My approach was 245 out with a slight headwind and I took a huge risk by lofting it to try and stick the green. Pulling that off gave me an easy eagle and saved me from packing my bags today. Any goals for this weekend?None. Too many players are hitting sub 60 rounds for me to move up. I'm just going to have fun and keep working on my game for the tough test next week at Bailiwick. Thanks for stopping by!

We are now here with Jason Rosol, who shot a disappointing 65 in round 2
Q. Thank you for taking the time to speak with us. I know you have a plane to catch to get some early practice at Pebble Beach.
A. Yep, no chance at making the weekend this time. I really need to find my putter, as 5 bogeys over 2 rounds isn't good enough. I recently changed my putting style to try to be more aggressive, and I think it backfired. I am 3 putting more than ever, which obviously isn't good. I am going to have to re-evaluate what I am doing in my practice rounds, as I've fallen out of the top 100 of the World Golf Rankings, and will fall further after this week.
Q. How did you like the course?
A. I liked it a lot, I just couldn't score on it. Even in my practice rounds, the best I could do was a 62. Hopefully things improve next week.
Q. Anything else you want to say before you head out to the airport?
A. I just wanted to say that I am really looking forward to meeting Bob Hope next week. The man is a living legend
Q. ...............

We now have invited Andrew Sikorski into the booth to speak with us after his record setting round of -17 (54) in round 4 of this Farmers Insurance Open.
Andrew how great did it feel to go out and shoot that score today? It truly felt fantastic. Even if it doesn't last long it feels great to hold a record on the PGA Tour.
How did you shoot that low of a score? I went out a few groups before the starters and I had favorable wind conditions which allowed me to put the ball as close to the pin as I possibly could. I also had that Ace on 11 which was huge as it got me back to birdie golf. And I also got a few putts to fall that might not have normally. Overall I just had a very good ball striking round that transferred over into my short game.
That's awesome. Do you think you have a chance to win? Well Doyley is 1 up with 2 to play right now so I don't think he will be giving this thing away but I'm about to go head off to the range and warm up in case of a playoff.
And before we let you go... how do you feel about next week at Pebble? Coming off a round of 54 you have to be confident in your chances at the next tournament. It would be a great place to pick up my first career W that's for sure.
Andrew good luck next week and thanks for your time. Thank you.
