any way we can get an official "no grid" tourny of the same course pga and euro set up each week, nothing gained or lost by playing, just an extra event for us that like these to do, i would imagine less than 25% of the field partaking in them, but would be fun to compare the scores vs the grid scores.
i dont know, really want some serious no-grid competitions again.

I won't mind playing a no grid tournament but have no desire for it to be 4 round. 1 is plenty. Normally play 3 to 4 practice rounds then the tournament itself. 4 more rounds just too many at the same course. A 1 round tournament I could play after I finished the regular event would be great. My 2cents

I would be interested in playing, but only if all aids were OFF. No approach camera, no scout camera, no shot suggestion, no green grid, no wind meter. Let's play some real sim!

NO TRAINING WHEELS tournaments and tours should please you. I liked the one you set up at Beaver Creek as the greens were very fair & the hole never seemed to be on an excessive side hill lie
I would play in more but my game time is very limited & will try to make appearances whenever I can. I agree with DLW one round is fine 4 is excessive

I would love to see for comparison sake how some of the elite players who routinely shoot in the -15 range would fare without scout cam, without wind speed, and without green grids. For me, it usually returns between 5 -10 negative stroke differential in my score playing without these aids, depending upon how windy the course is at the time I play it. I prefer to play without scout cam, and without the wind speed--but prefer the putting grid on (but will play with it off, if everyone agreed to that--putting is my least consistent ability). Unfortunately to compete, you do have to play how the majority play (with the aids on) For all of the folks that are claiming the game is too easy, or they don't think that the scores being posted are realistic (its a video game, so the scores don't bother me...I am just amazed at how consistent some players are able to play). I think that TasteGW is on to something. It would be really interesting to just see how the elite players fare with/without the assists, and you could directly compare on a course that they just competed on. I suspect that they would still shoot better than the vast majority--but would be curious if it brings the scores more in line to what you see "IRL"...(In Real Life) Could also be used for bragging rights to who is the best at that particular course playing on the most realistic of the current settings that we currently have. Most of the elite players have already practiced each of these tour courses religiously--and know the courses like the back of their hands. Would just be interesting to see how good they really know the courses, without the aids.

I do this quite often and it produces realistic scores for me - I'll shoot mid-60s to over par. I would love a tour like this, but I don't think a field of 10 can sustain itself

So easy for a user to work the system with no aids. I had typed out how but decided otherwise as there is no need to spread the word. I can fill in management if they think of going this route. Unfortunately there is no way to police it which is a shame as it is a great challenge if played proper.
