The current course that gamesdecent and I have going might be the GOAT of bold contours - Sweetens Cove. How about a sideways biarritz on a par 4 with the shelves 4 and 6 feet above the bottom of the swale? Is this any good!? OMG SWEETENS COVE!!!!! I’m dying to play this one IRL. Can’t wait to see it on here. I’m partially shocked there are peeps on this forum that know about South Pittsburgh lol

Lawsonia Links. Such a pure course. Mega contours on every hole. I could play this course everyday!

The now non existent 'dragon's teeth' mounds that surrounded the fifth green at the Old White TPC. Lost due to the flooding they had a few years back. The mounds were formed by some leftover fill that Raynor intended to use for the next hole but never eneded up doing. The mounds were then grassed over and the fifth turned into a 'leven' template but without the name.

Eccentric punch bowl green... That reminds me of the approach into the par 5 18th at Hesketh which is surrounded by a dune. Edit: I once lipped out there for an eagle-eagle finish.

Hesketh is a really good course. Mostly links with a little bit of parkland and some quality holes. Unusually it finishes with two par 5s, the last has the narrow entrance to the green between the dune.
Hesketh has hosted Open Championship Qualifying and The Amateur Championship among other events.
They have a festival week every August, which I played in on the Friday and Saturday five straight years. For £55 (at least it was when I last went four years ago) I got to play in a two man team event and a four man team event, so we made a weekend of it. That's great value when a standard green fee there is more than that.

I have no idea what course this is, but I want to know. It's somewhere in South Africa. Found it while I was doing some Invicta inspiration searching.
