The current course that gamesdecent and I have going might be the GOAT of bold contours - Sweetens Cove. How about a sideways biarritz on a par 4 with the shelves 4 and 6 feet above the bottom of the swale? Is this any good!? I don't know...Paraparaumu in New Zealand might give it a run for contours. Brb heating this up on a spoon with a bic lighter

I need to save this thread in case anyone complains about "tricked up" greens!

Beautiful topic. Here's a starter from me. The 'short' hole at Forsgate Country Club has a ridiculous thumbprint.
Here's my take on that hole from an upcoming course based on Forsgate.

2nd at St. Andrews is pretty cool. The huge swale means you have a better angle if you play down the right closer to the out of bounds (at least you did until the R and A stupidly put bunkers at the front right of the green). ianandrewsgolfdesignblog.blogspot.com/2011/01/2nd-green-at-st-andrews_7602.htmlIan Andrew has a nice series blog posts from several years back on some of the great greens in golf (believe 16th at North Berwick was in there). Definitely worth checking out.
