Zithobeni Golf Club, Course on the South African Highveld.

Zithobeni, (a Zulu word meaning humble yourselfs) is situated on the Highveld grasslands of South Africa. The surrounding highveld terrain varies between natural rolling hills and open plains, with mountain views and perennial streams. The golf course meanders through a fertile valley of indigenous grasslands and scattered clumps of trees. Sustainability and the quality of the golf course's playing surface, is ensured by the plentiful supply of water. The fairways are generous and inviting, the greens large and immaculate all year round. The course plays on the long side but with high altitude it still offers a fair test. The greens are fast but the pins extremely fair and on a quite day with little wind it might be a bit too easy for some. Additional planting was kept to a minimum with object meter not even a third full so it should be framerate friendly.
