Maybe I'll get a ps4 and try it (and mlb the show) MLB The Show is sweet. Haven't played in a while, been splitting my time between TGC and GTAV.

After contending for the title last week hit a respectable -11 on first round. Second saw me hit -4 for -15 total over 2 rounds.
I think that may scrape the cut as alot seem to be struggling. I think the greens are the slopiest we have had so far on the tour and that is definately where I lost most my shots!
Rounds 3 and 4 were both -7 to bring me to a poor -29. If I scrape the cut I hope that will see me around the 50th mark for my worst finish

I've picked Dubsonic as my turn-based test dummy this week, as I thought a 1st round -11 was a nice target for me to reach for.
First of all, had pars on both 9 (easiest hole) and one par 5 on the back (2nd easiest). I still had it at -10 after 15 and had a 1-2 shot lead over Dubsonic for most of the back 9. He dropped some bombs down the stretch, though, including an eagle. I had some strange way off target approach shots down the stretch and settled for 3 pars to finish.
Not too bad, considering 8-12 winds all day. Really hoping to shave 1-2 strokes in round 2 to at least have a top 25 opportunity, and maybe an outside top 10 chance.

First off, Harris & Sikorski...great playing! Couldn't quite hang with you boys this week. 59, 56, 61, 55 for an overall -53. Third round hurt me. Was -4 going into number 11 (LOL), and went Ace, Eagle (par 5) to get to -8. But my lone bogey for the tournament at 18 in that 3rd round hurt. As of now, there are a few at -43 on XB1 next on the board. Competition is getting fierce!

Played last two rounds 62 and 63. I only got the 62 after a bogey and double bogey by offsetting it with 2 eagles from the fairway and 3 chip ins for birdie. Just couldn't make any approach shots worth while. At least I didn't have to worry about putting that round as I was chipping my 2nd and third shot up to the cup most of the time. Last round started off strong and died about 7th hole. Too much on the thumb, I gotta find another solution for this.
I think i'll make the cut with -19 but I don't think I'm going to be anywhere competitive Good luck all. anytime soon.

Finished at -16 for the first two rounds so the cut could be a nervous time. Pretty disappointing considering I was -10 on just the front 9 in one of my practice rounds. This is a nice course but it's also one that plays very differently considering which direction the wind is blowing.
I suffered from a few less than 100% shots on the PS4. I guess it's just this theme that does that. I really don't mind it too much because I don't think 100% should be so automatic all the time. It's tough when you are competing against others that don't have that problem though. I was really slamming that stick forward at the end of my second round to try to prevent the 90-something% to pop up.

Everyone always says that they get less than 100% shots but in my experience I have never had less than 100% unless my finger slipped or I was meaning to hit it soft. I wonder what I am doing differently?

I was really slamming that stick forward at the end of my second round to try to prevent the 90-something% to pop up. That was deliberate in the design. There is no wind direction that is always helpful or hurtful. The most hurtful wind is coming into and off the left on the first hole...if you have that wind, you'll have a decent number of crosswind holes on the front and back. Otherwise, any other direction is going to be helpful on some holes and hurtful on others. The holes go in all different directions of the compass, especially the par 3s and 5s...one tee shot in each direction. So there shouldn't be a distinct advantage or disadvantage on wind direction. Strength/speed however...well...we know how that goes.

Thanks for pointing that out Job. I almost mentioned in my previous post that I thought the wind into your face on number one was tough. That's the way it was for me last night when I played my two rounds.
Great work by you guys on this track. One of my favorites.

I wonder what I am doing differently? It's strange. I usually don't have a problem with it. The rare time I'm under 100% it's usually my own little hesitation moving forward that causes it. It's slight, but I can feel it. On this course, I was legitimately shocked when a couple 92% shots came up. From there forward I made sure to make a pretty brisk movement with the analog stick going forward and things went ok.

I then hv to change my swing tempo in order to get 100 percent depending on frame rate. This causes many less than 100 percent swings during a round tht is out of my control. I hv learned to work that into my game when hazards are in front of green. figure it causes me a few strokes a round at least.

64 thanks to a ton of 92% ers then 61 which shockingly I didn't have a single one. I predict I'll miss the cut by one but who knows

I predict I'll miss the cut by one but who knows Using a mouse the only time I don't get 100% swings are off the drive or long wood 2nd shots. Really gotta put in the extra 1/2 inch which can cause the ball to shank. Otherwise longer putts tend to be weak
