Years ago when my nephew had a PSone we had the great idea of hooking up the dance mat and playing a track and field type game with it. It turned out my legs weren't up to doing the 100m sprint, hurdles, long jump and the rest of the events in the game. Woke up the next day stiff as hell and having to explain to workmates it was caused by playing the PSone.

As for injuries? I don’t really nerd rage too bad but I once had a blister covering my whole hand from playing track and field. The one where you had to rotate the stick round as quick as possible to build up momentum to throw the discus or whatever. That hurt like a biatch. I was rather upset, until I realised I could still play Footie Man.

my worst injuries are sore fingers from typing out my complaining. If I get mad enough to throw or break something in real life, I take a break before that happens. But I sure am good at venting about it on message boards!!
Another thing that I personally do, if I get upset at a game... I go play some other competitive game that I'm good at and beat other people in that game. For example, I was a bit dejected after my R1 at St. Bedes. So I immediately loaded up Magic the Gathering:Arena and beat the tar out of some people on that. LOL
Only other injury would be sleep deprivation for staying up too late. hahah.

I get flustered playing video games from time to time but I don't go into a rage very often.
One particular time I was playing a tournament in TGC2 while having some adult beverages. It was by far the worst I had ever played and could not catch a break. During the last round after missing yet another short putt I snapped. I put down the controller while muttering some explicit language. Keep in mind I play in a rolling chair at a desk. I then attempted to push myself back away from the monitor because I couldn't stand to look at my scorecard. I took both hands and shoved my desk as hard as I could sending me rolling backwards in my chair away from the desk. One of the wheels ended up getting caught in the carpet and the chair flipped over. Down I went backwards to the floor narrowly missing hitting the back of my head on the floor. There I laid on my back... I stayed there for awhile looking at the ceiling trying to comprehend what was wrong with me that cause me to do that. I calmed down and got back up and finished the tournament. It was a dead last finish in CC-D. I did not sustain any injuries other than some rug burn and a stiff neck the next day.
I'm not proud of that night but it could have been worse. Other than the occasional spell of swearing at my monitor I usually stay calm playing most games.

Don’t think I’ve had an Injury I’ve lost a few controllers glasses cups mugs got the odd punch in the arm off the other half. Cracked a window after a pad trampolined off an arm rest.
Actually I slammed a pad of a table well a spoon on a table that hit me in the eyebrow and I’ve hurt my foot from kicking a wall.
Why am I coming back to the game actually 😂

My dog managed to trip over the charging cable to my PS4 controlller the other day as I was playing. Thankfully she was OK.

I used to be really heavy into Golden Tee. There was a huge arcade/pool hall in Somerville MA that had one up on a big screen TV back in circa 2005 or so. So the trackball was on a pedestal, which is up higher than the old cabinet versions.
Anyway anyone that's played GT knows you take a big arm swing and hit a trackball. Well I was so used to the cabinets I came in way too low and jammed my middle finger into the front of the pedestal. It wasn't pretty. My knuckle swelled up to the size of a ping pong ball.
Original GT machines were death traps.

I slit my"swing thumb" (left), PS4, opening a bottle of Pino. No stitches but missed a tourney.
