No real point practicing when the game changes each time you log in. Will keep an eye out for Q-School, but this game has dropped to about 4th in line with some recent releases. Yeah, I won't be touching it until the changes are done and (close to) dusted. Forza to play and RDR 2 coming up Not played the game in ages, since all this crap happened, no point, since ill only need to re-learn all roll out distances/feel for lofting etc anyway. Ill be well out of touch but as i say...see no point until the changes are in and final. Until then i have FIFA, F1, and FM 2019 on the way.

I say just start it up. HB could fiddle f@&k around for weeks. I would rather just play than worry about advantages. I would like to see all the new players get a chance to get addicted to TGCT before the AAA titles launch I'd love nothing more than to just get on with it John, and to be honest, I wouldn't b%& and moan about it, but the place would go into meltdown... Yeah fadge, but itll be bloody entertaining... Popcorn anyone?

So I thought of something that kind of would throw a wrench into the whole "Just get on with it, if a change happens then so be it." point of view:
What will realistically happen if a major update came through mid QSchool? Sure some would finish... But I know I would seriously consider just abandoning the 2 week QSchool and then just play the weekly QSchool in week one of season 5. I would guess many would do this. Enough that the two week QSch. then doesn't have enough players to populate all the tours. Waters down the whole event.
Kind of compromises the whole thing in a secondary way on top of the conditions not being balanced.

I didn't read everything, but am I to understand the loft box will be gone? I mean in real life you move the ball forward or back in your stance. It's an actual thing.

I believe everybody is putting way to much into The Who,e Q School concept. It’s only where you begin The Journey. A month after Q School you won’t even think about it again

The loft box will stay, but its effects will be lessened. And to everyone saying you just want to start, here's this: Sure you might not care where you end up, but if I end up back down on Z because I played with the update when most others didnt, im gonna be PISSED (!!!!!!!!), and I know a crap ton of others will to if they go through the same thing. Nobody wants players in a tour far below their skill level because those players will DOMINATE and it'll get to be a lot less fun.

A month after Q School you won’t even think about it again Thats probably fair because people will just be focused on their tour rounds.. But with the slower tour progression system now, Q-School is going to have a much bigger impact than people think.

QS will be an enjoyable experience, once it starts.

QS will be an enjoyable experience, once it starts. True but slower just means you won’t play in 5 different tours in 6 weeks. I was in 4 in 4 weeks last year. Still mobility. You just have to prove it a little more

Im new to the game so I cant actually tell what's wrong with it? Would someone care to enlighten me? If you've played real golf before then it's pretty easy to tell how god awful the ball physics are for this game. I am a real golfer 3/4 times a week. Play of 18. Yeah some of the physics are wrong but the game is unreal

Yeah some of the physics are wrong but the game is unreal I’m sorry bro but to call the ball physics god dam awful is way out of wack, I also play golf my handicap is 1.7 at the moment and I can garentee that my ball physics are different to yours, I can also garentee that I would most likely have different shot combinations than yourself off 18, the ball physics are what they are and if you want to get technical different shafts and club heads give different ball flights and trajectory’s. People are upset that they can’t stop the ball 2 foot from the flag because there is no spin, adjust your god dam game to suit the conditions we have to do it in real life when you go to different courses, so adjust to the game
