User error.
User error that just happens to coincide with the same shot, multiple times, for different players (but always the same shot for all)
And the exact same amount of user error for the same amount of reduced %.
You're right, that must be what it is.
Couldn't possibly be a game glitch... like perhaps an animation (say wildlife, or a plane) that might be happening at the same time causing framerate stutter...that would be ludicrous.
One might think that user error as a result of swing technique would manifest itself all the time during rounds, on different courses... since it is the user after all.
As opposed to a glitch which would seem logical to occur at specific places on specific courses, but not all courses that might be absent of whatever it is that may cause said glitch.

I think Andrew is just trolling us at this point, but not sure why. I still am trying to find out the common link so we can help HB resolve the issue.
Funny how he didn't take me up on my offer. Guess he can't put his money where his mouth is.

Just experienced this again while playing the "next level" tour. I've played hundreds of rounds and I know when I've screwed up my swing timing. I know for a fact that most of my 90% swings are not caused by me.

copy/pasting my post at HB's Game Play forum section from a few days ago. Funny how not one person - from either side of the coin - has said anything: I'm not sure what is going on but I'm coming up with an insane amount of "less than 100%" shots the past couple of weeks. It's really confusing because my swing is very deliberate each time. Pull back, hesitate briefly to allow the avatar to get to the top of his swing and then let it rip with a quick flick up.
Recently - and including other people I watch on Twitch - it seems like there is a serious power outage happening, more than than usual, leaving a lot of people scratching their heads as to why they didn't get the full strength they intentionally were swinging for when they've shot the same way as the previous shot that got 100%.
May need to loosen the screws a little bit on the power thing, it's becoming increasingly annoying when I'm consistent with what I do but the game does not respond consistently.>>> www.hb-studios.com/forum/index.php?topic=9277.0This is a real problem with the game. Yep, had a few more this week on XB1 during the Hero tourney. Luckily I didn't kill me like it did last week. lol
Kind of O.T. - Anyone ever have a putt rocket off the putter like a bullet for no apparent reason? Had that happen twice in four rounds at the Hero, so not too bad, but I don't think it was me.
