In TGC2 wind and lie had zero effect on PITCH shots. In TGC19 is wind a factor now? I have not been consistent enough on Mastee Club Pitch shots to say yes or no

Wind on pitch shots: For every 5mph headwind I add +1y. For every 10mph tailwind I subtract 1y. Lie definitely affects the shot but how much?, I don't have an exact answer. And if you're having trouble with the pitch shot just try lot's of loft on the LW or when the yardages get too low just switch to the flop.

Side winds also affect pitch shots now.

Thanks just curious - In TGC2 I did not even worry about wind OR if I was on a 45 degrees lie - made zero difference.

Side wind has always effected shots, in TGC2 as well as 2019.
Head / tail wind didn't appear to have any effect in TGC2.
It seems to me, so far, that the same holds mainly true. I do nowadays give a little deloft into a headwind, but lie seems to have more effect on pitch distance than wind, IMO.

Yes. this is what i try to do, but at times i forget and rip it... leaves me with 60 - 80 yard to the pin.. then after saying a few bad words, I take a deep breath and pray. |

Pitch shots are my go to Super accurate when Im not fast slow. Slow fast. Slow slow or fast fast. And it seems to take MOST wind out of the equation.

I never use the loft box on pitch shots of any length I prefer to control the distance using partial swings no matter how long the pitch is.
