Bugs and glitches aside, I think it's the best golf game I have ever owned. Well, that's not saying much. I mean...what can you really compare it to in terms of a golf SIM? Almost every other golf game is aimed at being arcade-ish. And he's not really wrong...the last two games have been inferior at launch in terms of bugs and glitches. Throwing it in the bin seems a bit excessive but unlike those who think HB does no wrong, there's solid ground to say this game was not really ready for release. |

THROW THIS GAME IN THE BIN. Surely there must be laws in Canada about duping people with inferior products as hb seem to do. I disagree with you on the game being inferior. This game is still the best golf sim I've ever played, and yes, it does have it's flaws, but then most games I play have. Where HB have let themselves down with this game, is sticking with the tempo swing, which is probably the one thing that frustrates most players. I can understand receiving a fast/slow swing if I've started my downswing too early or late. What I can't understand is receiving a hook/slice when my shot plain has been perfectly straight while hitting a fast/slow swing. Surely a fast/slow swing should react to how far your swing plain was off line, but to hit a straight shot and still see your ball slice well right while receiving a slow swing is just ridiculous. I honestly believe that if HB got rid of this tempo swing and allowed the user to Hit a ball in a way that was natural to them, instead of trying to get everyone to swing a club exactly the same way, then this would be by far a superior game. |

I disagree with you. This game is the most difficult to master, has its flaws and makes you want to rage break things at times but through all that it is the best golf game on the market....EVER... True golf fans and players will enjoy the learning curve and gamers should enjoy the challenge and community available through TGC and streaming. The ball physics could improve, specially on a aproach that leave you a 10 foot put with 6 inches downhill on a 174 green but it is still the best out there. Show me a driving game, shooting simulator or even a FIFA game that is more acurate than this... AND I hope you have changed your mind about this game and that you are still playing it. Cheers.
