I'm getting this little hook to the right at the top of the swing plane line. This little thing is evil. I can be perfect/perfect and the rest of the line fairly straight but that little thing has a dramatic effect. Where does that point on the line represent? Right at the start when I pull back or the end? I've been trying to diagnose it and change my swing speed, and motion to straighten it out but last couple days it has been terrible. It may not look like much but it sends me wildly offline on some of my approach shots. I assume its the very end of my swing, end of downstroke. Just wondering if I'm slamming the stick too hard, or its too slow and its drifting off so to speak. I can't seem to control it PC-X1 Wired controller. Thanks to those who leave the S5 Update thread/drama to help me out lol

I also use pc-xbox 1 controller. I believe, although I am definitely not an expert in this game, that hook comes at the end of your swing. This has happened to me plenty of times and when this does happen I can feel my thumb slip at the end of the swing. I think the black line represents the start of your swing. I hope that helps

I haven't had a total slip of the thumb, but have been changing my positioning in my hand every time i get a bad shot. I think maybe what is happening is I'm having a two day slump in my swinging. Can't get the tempo right, even with Pro clubs. (funny a round earlier on Master was easier for me and less offline shots) I'm becoming more conscious of my motions and maybe over thinking it and its's causing things to snowball worse. Need to get back into my zone and just smash the ball and not think it over too much.

I had to make the switch from mouse to controller because the mouse swing just wasn't cooperating as it had in TGC2. And with the controller I have also been over thinking too much. Think I will take your bit of wisdom and "not think it over too much." Thanks and good luck this upcoming season.

Thank you and good luck as well.
Maybe we will cross paths on the leader board in the future. (CCA right now, hoping to get back to Web)

I don't follow through with my downswing on the controller, if I do I can't control the tempo, it's all over the place. I pull back on the thumb stick to represent my backswing and when the club reaches the top, I just flick forward lightly on the thumb stick. You will never master the tempo because the swing parameters are changing all the time.
