This may have been discussed already and I just didn't see it but in the current courses I am designing I am trying hard to build the greens with multiple pin locations. So the last two I designed I made Thursday and Sunday Pin versions, I could easily add a Friday and Saturday pin. I see alot of other designers have started doing this as well. So the question I have is there any thought going forward when new courses are selected to host events and the course has multiple PIN locations available that the different pin locations could be used alternately within the tournament? Example would be use a Thursday pin round one, Sunday pin round 2, Thursday pin round 3, Sunday pin round 4? I know some guys are even building different tees for different days. I think this change up of play in the tournament would be fun. Shameless plug for my multiple pin courses to generate play Eagle Lake Resort - Thursday pin Eagle Lake Resort - Sunday pin Stone Ridge C.C. - Thursday pin Stone Ridge C.C. - Sunday pin

There are some events that will feature courses with multiple pins. In fact, I believe last week's Euro event was split to have two different versions of the course. The Master's will definitely use the four different pins. It's going to be case by case because there are logistical considerations in terms of the setup and ability to verify rounds, but to answer your question, yes...it'll be a consideration for some events.

Even better would be if HB would implement something like it was in "Tiger Woods", where you had to make a decission regarding pin location (Easy, Medium, Hard, Whatever) prior to an event/tournament/round.
And course designers should be forced to set 3-4 different locations when creating a course before they can publish it.
Till that (and it will probably never happen), creating multiple versions of a course to simulate different pin locations is a great thing in my opinion.
