Are there any courses - particularly ones created by TGCT designers - that are considered signature courses of a given TGCT tourney? Or a rotation of courses that get played every season? If so I don't know what they are (more fanfare needed!) and if not, I think it would be great.
Augusta and Sawgrass have their own tournaments. Pebble and St Andrews have their own sort of mystique about them. There's other courses that show up every year with their own sort of personality, or tournaments with permanent homes that take on a life of their own, like the Phoenix Open.
I just think it would be a great way to add some stability and continuity to the tour, as well as celebrating our great designers. I love all the courses, and I love playing new courses, but it's a little sad to see a great course come and go and get a little forgotten. I know its hard to schedule the tournaments (thank you TGCT team!) but it would be neat if there were a couple signature events to look forward to on the calendar where the course is set in stone.
Just idle musings I had.

If Oceanic Athletic Club were available, it would have a permanent spot on CC-Pro for the Oceanic Airlines Open.

If someone is willing to tackle these iconic courses and completes a respectable representation, then that designer deserves to have their work showcased.

To be clear, I wasn't advocating for RCRs to be showcased - but to have the best original courses from our best designers be made permanent entries on the tour.

I don't know if this would benefit the tours or designers much. It would mean there's less of a chance for newer courses to host a tournament meaning less chance of them getting noticed. Also it might put more pressure on the designer to keep porting a course over and fixing when a new game comes out.
I've got into the mindset of designing for myself rather than plays or tour spots so I'm not fussed if mine get noticed now. But others might still have that as motivation to design. It might hamper a designer's progress with new courses because they've got to revisit an old one and update them.
