Posted next week's Sony Open schedule. Here in an outline of the events, with some thoughts behind the choices. I welcome any positive or negative feedback on the plan.
Monday Practice - Brae Burn Country Club - A free round for no money, at a course that seems relatively easy. Just a tune up for the week, and a chance to see a new course. Tuesday with Phil - Atlantic Inn - There is some real money on the line here, and to up the stakes I will always throw in a twist to see if the top players can deal with it if they want that dough. This week it will be range distances, rather than precise. Wednesday Pro-Am - Cincinnati Club - Pro-ams are a part of tour life, so here we will put just a little money on the line, and check out a new course. Just a straightforward round for now, but I will consider if I want to shake things up in terms of settings with this day going forward. Sony Open - Nozzer's Arch - Two rounds, Thursday-Sunday, as we check out a top notch course.

So doing range distances is pointless with the aiming marker on. Mental note noted.

Chucked a bit of coin into here the other day for you to use as you see fit. Not sure if the society has any more levels to go, or if you want to use it as payouts, or some other thing, but wanted to contribute a bit as I plan to play a few more rounds in here when I get the time given the great course selections.

Thanks for the donation! I am sure there are more levels that I can go up, I'll have to take a look. I donated about 75% of my coins last night and updated the clubhouse, for whatever that's worth. I'll probably up the stakes on Tuesdays and make it a large buy-in, as I'm sure most people are swimming in coins. I really want that day to feel like a money game with Phil, if possible, with some real coin on the line.

Heading into our 3rd week now of Season 2 with the new format. From what I can tell it doesn't seem like a majority of the people playing each week, maybe around 15-16 in total, post here much, but for those who do, what do you think so far? Anything you like or dislike?
I know being on PC has its limitations, but I am wondering if I should be doing anything else that might bring more players in. I think maybe 25 per event or more would be a nice satisfactory turnout, in my opinion.

Just a heads up, I will be escaping Chiberia next week to (hopefully) sunny Florida, where I expect to get in at least 36 holes of real golf (what's that?). Therefore, next week will be a bye week with no events.
As a further heads up, I am seriously considering joining the RRCC tour to satisfy my desire to check out new courses, and getting out of the society business to focus on completing some designs that I want to get out on a deadline. I will use my time next week to think about what I want to do, as I haven't made any concrete decisions yet. I just wanted to get that out there, though, as that could result in this being the last week for the society.

So I was -3 through 10 today, then in the last 8 holes I had 4 3-putt bogeys and a 4-putt double bogey. Yikes. I had one stretch of 3 holes where I putted 10 times.

For anyone of the handful of loyal players of this society who might frequent the boards here, I just want to give a heads up that I will be posting a message in the society tonight. I'm checking to see if anyone wants to take over admin of this society starting after this weekend's event. There are a number of things going on now and throughout 2019 that I feel will require me to reduce my hours in TGC, so I need to cut back on either playing or designing. Playing is always going to lose out in that scenario.
Send me a message here or post in the society if you are interested in taking over, and I will make you an admin. If no one volunteers, then I will just let it go dormant.
I'm sorry for those that do frequent this society, as I know it's hard to find stable societies on PC, and I appreciate your playing over the last however many months it's been. This just feels like the right thing for me to do and the right time to do it.
