Been playing TGC2 for a couple of months and just played my first Q-school tournament. Been using a Logitech controller, so I unwittingly violated the Fair Play policy. Bought a new Microsoft xbox one controller today. I have always played using the d-pad to swing the club. Have been unable to remap the new controller to use the d-pad. Is there a way to do this, and if so, is it acceptable? Thanks for any help.

If you want to play on TGC Tours that is. If not...more power to ya. Mapping to the d-pad gives you absolutely no variation in your swing pattern. Not only a big no-no..but also pretty lazy

Thank you for the reply. I am pretty close to Pops age and have been a serious computer golf player since the early 80's (Microsoft golf, Links. all the Tiger Woods series, WGT, and probably a couple more). Used the mouse and game pads, so I do know how to use the sticks. Been getting a little shaky lately and using the pad is a little easier for me. Think I am just getting old, not lazy. lol. If using the pad is a big no-no, it is probably time for me to give up the gaming. Glad to have found TGC2 tho, it is the best golf game yet!
