Being that my mom is 100% Italian I grew up with some very good food. Mom still going but doesn't cook much anymore so I do make my own sauce but it's time consuming and never tasted as good as mom's. Enter Rao's sauce (Google it if you don't know the name) which became available at my grocery store recently . It is very good. I add some things to it and cook meat in it but a great base. Certainly the best bottled sauce I have had.
If you like Italian try it out.

I always add like a quarter cup of olive oil to store sauces and simmer it a bit. Olive oil is like the Magic ingredient in a great sauce. Mmmm

Good tip, I'm going to have to try that because store bought sauces just always seem to be missing something. While still good just needs that little kick.
