I think there's an issue with how HB handles putting on slower greens. IRL the ball does not break as much on slow greens as it does on fast greens. The reason a green is slow is because of the friction of blades of grass, the same blades that impede deflection of the ball from the putting line. In the game this effect is ignored, and slow greens break MORE than fast greens. Or am I just imagining this? Anyway I hate putting on anything less that a med-fast green.

I've always found slower greens break less in TGC2 than faster greens, just like IRL.

I agree something feels a bit off on slower greens - but it breaks less.
187 greens is where my best putting occurs.

The ball wont break as much on slower greens as you're hitting the ball harder. You would be hitting it through most of the break, especially near your feet. the ball will break as it is slowing down.

I feel the opposite. In TGC2 the ball broke much more on slower greens on PS4. Much less now in”19”. I see people missing high much much more in “19”

I completely agree with you. It's backwards.
