Last Man Standing(week 6).

7 players were still standing going into week 6 with the 3 eliminations required to give us a 'fab four' shootout in week 7.

I had the advantage of knowing what I needed to shoot to guarantee one of the four spots. No matter what I shot(good or bad), Owen Ayy(Mike) with 58(off scratch), moneyman273(Jason) with 60(net59) and OldManGaming606(Alan) who shot 59(off scratch) had already taken three of the four spots. This also meant I had no influence over the current LMS champ MR LONGPOLEx(Neil), who finally surrendered his crown with 67(Net65) and joining him was Coggin66|Ken who shot 64(net62).

Basically I needed a 64(net61) to make it and K.O.RHMIII(Randy) with his 62(net61). After a bogey on 5, I was only level par and looked doomed. A run of great scoring and playing the last 13holes in 13 under meant my ticket into the 'fab four' was a shoe in as I finished 59(net56) Sorry Randy!....similar performance in week 7 please controller.

Last Man Standing(The Final).

As I stood on the tee on Saturday, there was no great score to beat so I guessed the course(or conditions) were not easy. OldManGaming606(Alan) had shot a 65 and with it his dream of a treble had gone because Mike had shot a 64. With no sign of moneyman273(Jason) in the car park, I teed off with Mikes ghost. I started like a freight train holing the earth until the double bogey on 7 knocked me back. Instead of staying chilled, I tried to keep attacking when there was no need to as a 3 shot head start would still have been enough to threaten Mikes score. But on the back of my mind there was still moneyman273(Jason) to sign his card. Maybe he just got stuck in traffic? Anyway, I continued to put balls in bunkers or the drink until I could take no more. A stroke limit on 17 and the red mist descended and I ran out of balls on 18 and threw my clubs in one of the 7000 bunkers and walked in for a cold one. I wonder if Jason did the same as he was a no-show also.

Anyway congrats to Mike and SpokenTerror835(Ron)....as for the rest its back to the drawing board for the rest......Over and out Davie.

SEASON 64

Season 64 is set up and Event 1 starts tomorrow Sunday 15th September. There is currently a pre-season warm up event at one of my courses.

The entry fee for each event remains at HB$100.

I have not removed any players this season and we have one re-joiner in Shawn (greyosprey ). Div C still only has five players, so if anyone wants to join or rejoin late, then they can be added into Div C.

As per last season, each event is one 18-hole round per week.

The KO Cup

It is Round of 32 time in the KO Cup. Halved matches will go to a replay match in Event 2. Here is the full draw that Lady Luck (aka wheelofnames.com) has given us. She has been pretty mean to Mike and Ronny matching them up in the Round 32, with the winner to then play Alan in the Round of 16.

Please remember that a DNF opponent in the KO Cup is a Bye to the next round, and there are 11 of these and only 5 actual matches.

Last Man Standing(season 64).

At time of going to press, we have 21 players for the new season. As week 2 requires 24 players, there will be no eliminations. Week 3 requires 20 players so eliminations will start next week(unless anyone is a DNF).
