Ironically the slow backswing is the only one I can do with any controlled intention (its my go to for a shorter 3W shot). However I find this one does depend on the monitor refresh speed. I once had to start playing with a plasma TV with a much longer screen lag and every swing was slow until I learnt to adjust because I was effectively waiting too long for my usual cue of the onscreen golfer reaching the end of his swing.

The erratic variation in the tempo is the game's major flaw (at least for us XB1 players). I have great respect for those of you that persevere with Masters clubs on XB1. It seems if you get the wrong combination of any of the following, you are in for an unpredictable time:

Server load - This has been much worse recently (especially during US evening times)
Too many of the wrong type of objects on the course
Crowds (I normally try to avoid picking courses with these)
Long time since you last restarted the game
Long time since you last restarted your console

If I start getting stupid tempo outcomes (like a Very Fast with a 4 iron on Pro clubs - I can't do that if I try!), my normal approach is to restart console; restart game; and, if necessary, wait until my Aussie evening when US & Europe are quieter.

i really hope so i will still buy the game but unsure what console to buy the new XBOX looks really bulky i don't want to stand it up limited space so will need to see what ii looks like lying down i have heard you can do it this way also strange how a few members are now getting tempo issues weird

Ken, yes my Par 3 17th was a classic meltdown. That triple bogey also allowed me to lose by 1 stroke for my match against Koop also. For some reason with the lockdown in California I seem to play worse than when I spent 10 hours at work and would come home and play a round.
