Actually, I never even came close.  I started out with approach shots leaving me 20-25 foot putts which are hard to consistently make, then I started taking risk to try and play catch up.

I'm lucky to get inside 25 ft most holes these days, not sure whats happened. Used to be pissed off if wasn't inside 6ft.

Last Man Standing (Judgement week).

Four players pitched up this week to decide who would have the honour of sitting on the 'golden bog seat' for next term. With all previous dwellers long since being flushed away, it was time for a new kid on the block to rise to the top of the cubicle. With other irons in the fire it, it was sadly OldManGaming606(Alan) who blinked first with 61(net 60). The other sad face after signing his R1 scorecard was F57Andromeda(Vince), who missed making it forward to R2 by two shots with 60(net 59).

And so on to the final 18 holes of the season where our new 'golden throne' dweller would be crowned. First out of the blocks was MR LONGPOLEx(Neil), who carded 62(net 59). Sadly for SpokenTerror835(Ron), the bog door was slammed firmly in his face as he could only manage 64(net63).

Firstly, well done to our new champ from Division C!. I had a feeling after seeing his  week one score, that his handicap(even a reduced one) would make him a tough competitor this season. Having said that, his final week score would have been good enough to win if all four were off scratch, so a worthy winner there is no doubt. May have to look at his H/C for next season tho because he is due to play off 3 again in div B!

All the best and well done to everyone(especially Ken). Even tho he struggles to make time to even play sometimes, he keeps us all together...Well done pal, keep up the great work......Davie

It is with a heavy heart that I must announce I will not be returning next Season. I am gutted to leave this wonderful Society as it was my first foray into the world of online golf.
Ken has been my rock from the start and introduced me to the Brew Crew as well.
Mate, you are a legend, and it never ceases to amaze me how you keep this Society running so smoothly with so many other real life things going on.
I will still be active in the thread and I will be back if or when we have a new version of the game.
