I've been dreaming about having this course in TGC ever since watching the Walker Cup last fall. I've got textures laid down for ten holes (tedious as hell, but the vision of the final product has helped me power through it). The North Course at LA Country Club will host the U.S. Open in 2023. The original course was opened in 1911, but the current course is largely the work of George Thomas and Billy Bell completed in 1928. The course was recently masterfully restored by Gil Hanse and Geoff Shackelford. I think the biggest challenge will be the bunkers. It won't be possible to perfectly capture the ragged edges, but I think the bunker style that I used on Potter Lake will be a reasonable approximation. Luckily there are lots of pictures of the course on the internet and I've also been studying footage from the 2017 Walker Cup. I've also found some good written descriptions of the holes (Golf Club Atlas and elsewhere). Any other sources of info you could point me toward would be welcome.

This should be a good one. I started fantasizing about this course once I saw the Walker Cup, too. Yes, I fantasize about golf courses....
