They said it could not be done the risk was to great. They said it was madness to even think about it. They tried to stop me by fail means and foul but here we are and for the first time in web.com history, back to back courses by the same designer. The fears that using a course by the same designer two weeks in a row would cause such a egotistical overload to the designer that it would tear a hole in the space and time continuum have been stopped by the use of my patented tgctours ego reducer. Now it may same cruel to lock a designer in a room and to project comments from the 10 most negative tgctors members in history about his courses on the walls, forcing him to read over and over but method has been proven to refuse ego by up to 50 percent. So with the risk of ego explosion been taken away the web.com is proud to present The Ross Club of Chicago. Have fun out there but please if you like the course, try not to shout aloud, just in case.

I'd be happy if we had exclusively CLV courses on tour. They are always brilliant.

Very nice looking course which I have most likely missed the cut on. It's nice looking, but seems like I should have made more birdies given how often I was on the fairway and not too far away. Greens were sneaky hard. -4 after 4 holes in round 1, and turned at -2, which is ridiculous. -12 for two rounds, and after missing an exemption by 1 shot at St Andrews, will most likely be taking a strike this week.

Got my first two rounds in. Just fair warning, the winds are up a bit to medium in round 2 and I expect that the course will play more difficult. I agree with David that the greens are sneaky hard, but guys playing tour clubs should still be able to over power the course. -19 at the cut, and nothing to note other than a 3 putt bogey on #1 in the second round.
Good luck out there fellas!

Change the name of that course to Lip Out CC. 13 through 3 rounds. Those Rd 3 pins coupled with that wind were difficult. Frustrating course, bc it seems gettable from the tees and FW- until you get to the greens I'm guessing the cut will be -10

Interesting course that is relatively straight forward as long as you hit the f/w (driver is not always the best choice off the tee) and then the correct spots on the greens, although it is very easy to leave yourself some very tough putts if you're just a little off with your approaches.
Opened with a solid 60 (-10) with one bogey due to poor shot selection. Second round and the wind was up a little but not a big issue, only problem was my swing decided to become less reliable; had to scramble well to somehow finish with no bogeys but only 65 (-5) on the card. So -15 at the cut and booked a spot for the weekend.
Good luck to those yet to play / finish.
