I am certainly open to whatever, but I know often I like to sit down when I have time and crank through 4 rounds all at once. I am sure I am not alone in that. That could be cumbersome to the cut process unless it was done post 4 rounds. At the end of the week if you missed the cut your last two rounds are wiped out, no harm no foul. Just my two cents. You will be able to play all 4 rounds. I'm writing the code so that if you miss the cut, the scores you posted for rounds 3 and 4 would never be shown and deleted from the database as you never played them. The leaderboard will have a cool aspect because I'll be showing like all round 1 scores m-w, then round 2 will show up on wed. Then on Friday it will show round 3 scores plus MC for all those that missed the cut or WD for any that did not finish round 1 and 2. Then on Sat it will open up and show all rounds. Hope this helps. Rather than deleting rounds 3 and 4, are we able to add 3 and 4 as practice rounds for historical purposes.

Their will be programming in place for the PGA Tour to limit R3 and R4 play to top 70+ ties. We will probably use the 10-shot rule for majors, which means any players outside the top 70 still within 10 shots will be able to play Rounds 3 and 4. The cuts may be a little more laxed on the other tours.. Not decided yet. I know for sure the Champions and Executive tours will not have cuts. Music to my ears.. |
