Doyley SmilingGoats I did not qualify for the US Open but played it anyway, for the heck of it. On one long par 3 I hit out of the cone right and the ball skipped, somehow, INTO a green side grandstand. I'd never been in one before, was expecting to be placed just in front of it, however, I was not relieved but expected to hit the ball from within the damn thing. After one failed flop shot I took an unplayable. The game does not support proper relief rules for grandstands, so please eliminate them from tournament courses. Thanks!

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
