In my experience, dislike/downvote systems get abused all the time and cause more problems than they are worth
Don't like a particular post, then respond with a reasoned rebuttal or ignore and move on IMO

What I would really *really* like is an Ignore User button.
I know it's supposed to be all golf-gentleman in the forums, and we're supposed to be civil.
But I swear, some of the threads/posts have me duct taping my fingers together to hold off going into a typing rage.
