. I have never been. I just googled Traditional Swiss, and that was some of the content that came up. Oh.... gotcha. I spent 15 years in Zurich. Was thinking we might have something in common in that regard! Sechselauten was a highlight every spring! . Ahh, nope. Would love to get across the pond someday. Maybe for my 20 yr with wifey. On that note, I have a Swiss theme I started about a month ago. Only did one hole, then stopped to try and finish up Autumn Hills. I started playing around the other night again, as I hit a wall again on Autumn. I have thought about calling mine The Yoldler.

In case it helps, I'm not sure I'm going to pick a name that is going to be hard to pronounce for 97% of the people that play this game (most importantly, ME). LOL

But don't forget guys that switzerland is a country with three official languages, german, french and italian.... why not going for something else? Both the italian and the french sound much friendlier than the german. "Golf de la montagna" (Golf of the mountain in Italian) "Golf des Alps" (Golf of the Alps in french) two simple names that can work nicely

Switzerland has four official languages... German, French, Italian and Romansch (which is spoken by less than 1% of the population, but maintains official language status due to its historical significance).
Point well taken about the other official languages/cultures. Most people would be blown away by a summer visit to Chateau Chillon just outside Montreaux, or to Locarno in the Swiss canton of Ticino bordering Italy .... What? Palm trees in Switzerland? My head just exploded!

You’re absolutely right rob, forgot about it ...as do even a few of the Swiss themselves! It’s a tiny pocket, really. The national TV broadcaster, SF, has channels dedicated to German, French, and Italian, but I don’t ever recall running across the Romansch channel. Would be analogous to Grayson’s hill folk dialect getting included on the Declaration of Independence. 😋
