18 mph winds no chance really, you hit the perfect drive into it then a ghost ball goes another 60 yards down the fairway, lol, of course there were a few holes with some benefit but very hard to play in overall. only played 2 rounds, the last 2 won't be necessary especially after a 72 74 but I was pretty happy with that in those conditions.

So just for Shits & Giggles, I thought I would play my last two rounds .. guess what 4 MPH maximum winds ... and I shot a 68 followed up with a 65 ... even finding water twice in round 3 --- that figures ... totally different course with little to no wind ... WHY does this game have to give me High WINDS the first two rounds? not that it makes a difference ... NOT ... WIND MAKES A BIG %@#$*& Difference!!!!
R1 & R2 76-72 (+6), R3 & R4 68-65 (-9) ... now if I had my last two rounds first ... I might have made the cut ... maybe ... Like I would be tied for 38th instead of 3rd from the bottom ....
call me a WHAAAAAAAAbulance ....
oh well yet another cut due to windy conditions of a ***** course.
Wonder why its rated so low?

Leaderboard says the cut line is 70 this week, wonder why it was changed. I thought the higher cut line worked pretty good for this tour, allowing more folks to play the weekend. Sorry guys, forgot to adjust that prior to event starting. It's back up to 120.

got my exemption and pissed it down the toilet. High winds, narrow landing areas and fast and sloping greens = no luck. Ps4 controller acting all wonky and giving me 95% at horrible times and shot a first round +2, knew I would miss the cut and just pushed through the 2nd round not really giving a crap (no math) and shot a +1 lol. Anyway back to the Champions tour for me...for now.

I'm playing on a sponsors exemption this week as well, so I'm just hoping to make the cut to earn my web.com card. Prior weeks it seems as though the cut line was around -8 to -10 from scanning the past leaderboards. For the folks that have been playing on web.com for a bit, would you anticipate this weeks cut being around there/higher/lower given how Shivering Pines compares to other courses you've played?
Waiting until the cut line is revealed is killing me!

Finally put a good tournament together. 60 67 62 62 = -33 Couldn't get anything going in the 2nd round. All pars until the 9th hole. Would of been close to the top if the 2nd round went better. Hopefully -15 makes the cut. lol

I did not (no offense) I tried a few different things this week: - instead of doing my 4 rounds in one sitting (Saturday morning), I tried to spread them out. did 1 saturday morning, 1 saturday evening, 1 sunday afternoon, 1 monday evening. - turned off ghost balls. Found them kind of distracting, especially if someone tries and pulls off a shot that might have only been possible with the wind they had. Found turning them off let me just focus on what I was doing, and playing the course the way the wind I had would let me. I do like them in practice rounds though... but I think I'm done having them on during tournament play.
Hopefully it worked out. I thought I had a pretty decent showing (66-63 first two rounds). Hoping that's enough to make the cut.

I did mine last night, now I was a little distracted as my kids where coming and going and my 4 year old was trying to mess me up! But I should have stopped after the first 3 holes because I had 4 putted after starting off with a birdie and the 3rd whole was a massive slice followed by a massive hook! So hopefully next time I can play a little better.

Catcherer (-38) really played lights out this week out at Shivering Pines. I was honestly not a fan of course after my practice rounds, and it showed as i consistently missed putts out on that golf course. EVERY hole was tilted and had a break going into it, which to me is absolutely terrible course design, and I just couldn't sink any long putts out there. The wind was at a constant 10mph so that wasn't really a factor, but there was a lot of missed opportunities to be had out at Shivering Pines. I bet this course will give some people trouble this week and m expecting lower score totals which my help me out on Sunday.
Round 1: 63 (-8) Round 2: 62 (-9) Round 3: 65 (-6) Round 4: 64 (-7)
Total: 254 (-30)

Shot a 68 and I am quite happy with my first round, only 1 bogey. The wind was fairly strong too. I'm pretty good at scrambling but I don't like making one putts for par.
