Hi! (pictures coming tomorrow night)
My second course is starting to come close to a releasable state, this time its an RCR-lite of my second local course where my love for golf grew from age 6. Thought i would put out an "Beta" now before its 100% done, have about 20% left on the plantmeter(so plenty room left for changes based on your suggestions)
Name of beta course : OGGK Beta (planting at about 80% done)
What i could really use you help with is as follows
Lag is one of the major things i would appreciate getting feed back on from you guys since i cant get it to lag on PC, and since its mostly planting that remains it would be good to know if there is any areas that really cant take any more in regards to lag.
But would alos love other feedback like
*technical issues, anything
greens, speed (aimed towards CC and below), too easy even for CC.AM?
Lightning Bunkers so bad they really have to be remade? Any thing else you think will have to be addressed?
I know the issues with the waters, but havent found a good way to fix it it
BR Christian

Played Back tee's with 265 clubs, enjoyed how the 1st was a welcome to the course a Eagle chance at a Par 5.I just play the course fast dont look out for technical stuff leave that for others i just play the course.Got to be honest not sure the course needs 4 out the 5 par 5s over 600 yards, there was one hole with a pond near the green thought it would make a great risk and reward hole. Also Thought the Rock was completely out of place on the 18th hole just a personal view.played pin set 1 thought the pin on 16th bit too extreme,But Overall sort of Course i really enjoy, its your course and what you like all what matters.

Just finished playing your course.
Just a few things that bothered me a little about your course overall, but nothing major. The course is really decent overall and I enjoyed playing it. The things I'd consider fix are the pin locations, sunken tree's and the sight line off the seventh tee.
A few of the pin locations on pin set four were quite unfair. I'd suggest leaving at least three boxes of green around your pins before hitting yellow or red slopes. Makes putting and approach shots fair from all angles if you do this.
The sunken tree's made to look like bushes are actually a good idea, but you can only get away with it if your using birch tree's. Oak tree's and others have too much sway on a windy round and it looks as though there's an earthquake happening when you see them moving lol.
The tee shot on seven from the back tee is blocked by a forward tee that is pretty much an eye sore. I'd suggest moving that forward tee out of the line of sight.
There were some more little minor things too, like the boulder in the fairway on 18. I have nothing against a Boulder being there but I think it would look much better if it was considerably smaller. With that said, it's a solid course overall and I'd definitely rank it as TGCTours worthy for an event on either Web.com or CC. Great work pal. ð

Thanks for the feedback guys, really appreciate it! the back tees are a mix of real and fantasy, the real course didnt have white tees from the start, so in reality they are abit of an afterthought and just adds a few yards on most holes so i made it alittle more "extreme" on most holes to make it some kind of challenge for videogame golf, also had the added benefit to place the drives on the approx spot im at in real life(im not a 300y driver lol) *but yes, the 7th tee have already been moved as i felt the same. *The greens had the usual "change after publish" issue, thought i was soo careful with the pins this time, but did find 6-7 pins on my playtest after pub that i felt was too harsh, especially since its meant to be somewhat easy. all greens will have some fine-tuning still. *Didn't know birch had noticeably less "sway", mostly used alot of oaks since it have more coverage meaning less trees overall to lessen the strain on myself and lag issues, this is def something ill look into since i agree that birch looks better aswell, and it doesnt seem like lag was that much of an issue yet? *The boulder i expected some comment on, it is there in real life aswell and i do tend to be blocked by it alot of the time lol, cant reach over the pond on my second anyways so its always a layup for me.(as with all par 5) Anyways, as said above, thank you for your feedback and plays, will look into addressing most of it! (Found this video, shows some holes, hopefully they are recognizable. the course in game is made after the layout as it was around year 1999, today most heavy rough is gone, together with about 20% of the bunkers, and unfortunately no more island tee aswell as a complete reordering of the holes.)
