pc leaders it seems the final two rounds cooled off quite a few of those players who started out so hot. Attachments:

Hard to go from a good 58 in round2 to squeak above the cut line, to a nasty 65 in round3 where everything was going wrong. I should go video playback my bogey on that dogleg left par5 on the front nine. Rolled just through the fairway on the drive by about 1 pixel, but at the exact point where the heavy rough touches the fairway instead of normal rough. Now I can't club enough to fly to the 2nd fairway and have to hit a 9-iron to stay short...but I hit it another few inches long into the rough again. Now 190yds out of the rough, play a great cut but due to the rollout on the green I found myself pin-high but 120ft due left for a shot which was right at the pin. Of course there's no possible way to get the ball to the hole now with a putter from that far, so had to take my 3-putt bogey instead of being DQ'd for chipping even though I had 0% chance of getting the first shot within 30ft from the first putt. Had two more 3-putts the same way later in the round.

Finished up tonight at -46 for the tourney. A 60 in round 3 and a 62 in round 4. Could never get off to a really hot start on this course despite number one being a gimme birdie. Most of my birdie runs would come late. I'm going to need a hole out or two to compete with the big boys. Plus I've always got a few mistakes creeping in. I bogeyed the par 3 2nd hole in my last round with a 3 putt.
Really enjoyed this layout. Perfect course for the corresponding PGA event.

Or just try to make them as you encounter them in round? I would think it should become a part of our preparation/practice so that when it happens for real, we all have a bit of experience to go off. I have personally played rounds where I aim for the furthest point of the green to practice long putts - not too kind to the stats but I'm not too worried about that. There is always the option to do it in the course creator.

I have personally played rounds where I aim for the furthest point of the green to practice long putts - not too kind to the stats but I'm not too worried about that. There is always the option to do it in the course creator. I knew better to avoid these spots and I thought my shots did avoid these spots...but alas they didn't. On the instance above, I put the marker the max distance away it would let me, and did max backswing...I just had enough power to go about 90ft and climb to the top of the tier and stop 30ft short of the hole. So for this instance there's no way to practice. Others (like I had a long one on the 3rd hole from the bottom of the tier, I could reach the hole and hit it too hard). One thing *I think* is happening is the video quality has some impact on long putts. When my backswing gets longer...it gets very jerky and I don't think the input range stays in a nice continuous/analog fashion. 1/100th of a second of a longer backswing no longer equates to ~1ft increments, but 20ft increments. Also, I've heard people say they have no issue getting the ball to the hole no matter how the long the putt is...but that's not my experience. In real life I'd bet my life savings I'd 2-putt 80% of the time from 100ft away (on a flatter reasonable green). Here it's really about a 1% chance.

Is there a toggle to get a longer putter (button press?) I seem to remember a putter that went 180 feet max distance? Hope that's not something that changes depending on what resolution you're playing at as that would not be very fair!
