We had 600 users in Q School, and Playstation users actually averaged the worst (by a small margin).

One tourney is far too small a sample size to make any definitive statements. Maybe he got unlucky with the wind on Xbox?
Get him to play 10 or 20 on both systems under (as far as is manageable) the same conditions, then compare again

I had xbox 360 and ps3 and with TW it was easier on xbox369 than ps3. Whenever my old boy came over and wanted a game it was always xbox as he couldn't handle the PS sensitivity. Might be diff on the new consoles. PS4 seems as sensitive as the old PS3 so I wouldn't say it was easy

Us PS4 players are just beasts. Mystery solved.

I can shoot 20-25 shots worse from one tournament to the next all while staying on the same ps4! Sounds like the same course for both... but good wind/bad wind, pre-putting patch, post putting patch, being a human being. Lot of things could go into it.

I cannot speak to ps4, but I have the game on PC and xbox, and they seem identical, right down to the club jumping off the face in odd directions. Sample size was to small to comment of the fact that in 2 rounds I never lipped 1 putt on the x-box, however I'm sure it must occur as everything was down to every bit of minutia identical. I can only assume that the programming is identical across all the platforms.
What I found amazing was the graphics settings can be dialed down and every course I loaded ran smooth, all this hoop jumping so people can run smooth on the x-box is a complete waste IMHO, but that's for another day.

I think it may boil down to the controller more than the system. I play on the ps4 and love it, however I am not in love with the ps4 controller. Maybe I am spoiled by using the ps3 as long as I did, but I struggle with the ps4 thumbstick. Feels a lot "looser" and less forgiving. I rotate between two of them and both feel identical. I have heard a lot of praise for the Xbox controllers.

This is the opposite of the OP, the looseness of analogue on the ps4 makes it harder to get consistant good swings, it depends what you are used to.

Is the xbox one controller alot better than the 360 controller?. I play the game with the 360 controller on the pc but have been thinking about getting an xbox one controller in the future when its fully compatible with windows
