Since I have around 500 different concepts I may use for this contest, I’m just going to create a generalized WIP thread with no name (mods feel free to delete my other thread). My current project for this is The Club at Snake Creek, inspired by south-central Texas, taking elements from the San Antonio area and Austin Country Club 1 hour away. To briefly describe it... rocks. Lots of them. Heh... hope to get some WIP pics up later this week.

pick one and don't look at the others until you are 100% satisfied. You need to get braver in your hole design... get NUTS!

trying a different design style is brave, right? Still very early on this course but I'm liking it so far. Decided to try something new and while I still need to find my way around this new "technique," I'm liking what I see. Big thanks to mattf27 for giving me some ideas for this... I'm really feeling the inspiration to knock out some holes this weekend!

When in doubt, make it hillier. Also, don't underestimate the visual interest you can get from using the raise tool to throw some little mounds or depressions in your fairways. Gives them that natural rolling look. Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Not going to share every hole before publishing but... I really love hole 2: Still have to fix that bunker and lots of work to do with mounding but hey, I like it. Oh, yes there's a tee box 58 yards from the green. meh.

Multi-Million dollar clubhouse project has begun at The Club at Snake Creek! Course closed until early July.Officially committing to TC@SC so time to begin on the big project... Snake Creek itself I don't want to give away my ideas as who knows if I'll actually follow through with them, but this is the combined green for holes 9 and 18, plus the putting green: Obviously a ton of work to do but I'd like to give this course a true atmosphere with a patio, parking lot, and maybe even a pool. My main focus for now is the course itself, but I mean it when I say I have big plans...

Front nine done, plus the finishing hole. Just one hole a day and I'll be able to start planting before I go on vacation! Here's the 8th green:
