When laying down fairways with brushes (no spline), is it easier overall to use big brushes or a series of small brushes. Trying to use the brush method currently instead of splines but struggling with meshing it all together. I'm using the 3 click method but still have some uneven light rough spots. Though maybe that using less brushes overall could help with time spent on each fairway. Hope that makes sense...

I've found it easiest to "draw" with the distance tool what you want your fairway to look like and then just basically "color" to fill in after that. Youll end up using bigger brushes for the majority of the area and then little brushes to curve and fine tune.

Pay attention to the fuzziness of the brushes you use. Fuzzier brushes result in wider bands of light rough when you use the 3-click method.
