It's coming along nicely. I've finally got a theme I like, im going with a canyon backdrop with the course set in a valley cut into the mountains behind. Some of the holes will twist thru the consonance themselves on the back 9. I must say I'm enjoying this course.

I've called it the azteca @ snakehead canyon.
a legend says a lost tribe made their way up one of the southern states. Called the canyon they settled in snakehead canyon as one of the rock formations resembled a snake. They build monuments to the snake God which have slowly been reclaimed by erosion over the years. The remaining monuments lay hidden in the dense foliage until Mr tarquin Shillington a golf fanatic bought the land after the first world war and found it by chance while routing his course. The stone structures closely resemble the sites of machu pichu etc.scientists have theorised the builders of these share a common ancestary with the southern civilizations.
So tarquin built a golf course on it.
