I haven’t been a part of this wonderful society long and not been playing the game very long either. However it’s clear to see that the creators of TGCTours and the community around it is just fabulous, and I will be making a donation in the near future A suggestion from me is, how about incorporating an actual real money tournament? Players would buy into the tournament using real cash. A percentage of that cash would go to TGCTours. The rest would be the purse and used as the winnings to pay out the top players of the tournament (obviously the winner gets the most) Just a suggestion which would generate the cash that TGCTours need and an incentive for the players to play for real cash! Thanks

1. I would hate to see the cheating and cheating accusations that would happen if there was real money on the line.
2. I think most people would quit if tourneys paid out real money, as only a precious few would have a chance to win.
3. From a legal standpoint, TGCTours.com would have to pay for licensing and whatnot or lose all the PGA/EURO/Web.com names. Because it's free, this site can use real names.
4. If the site would collect fees for registration, it has to build all of that integration into the site. They'd have to pay someone to build and maintain that. They'd have to bring on an accountant to manage the books.
There are a lot of reasons not to do it.
Not that it's a bad idea in and of itself, but there's a lot to consider when doing something like that.
