It seems to me that it is very inconsistent. Ball above or below feet seems to not afect the flight to much unless its a drastic slope.

I'd say it does affect the shot, but...
...if the ball is below your feet it has (way) less effect than if it's above your feet.
Same is for the wind, at least that's my personal impression during my rounds. More effect if the wind comes from right to left (than when it's left to right).

Not only does a sidehill lie affect the trajectory of the shot, the higher lofted club you're hitting, the more dramatic the effect.

I think the worst thing about the up/down and side slope impact is that when wind is involved it is very hard to work out the exact impact.
The inconsistant nature of TGC2 makes it difficult to master.
